Paul Krugman: Many people have complained about New York Times headlines, with reason. All too often an equivocating, sanewashing headline belies the excellent reporting that follows. But yesterday the Times got it right about the first-quarter decline in GDP ...

"It's Trump's Economy Now"

Only for things that might go right.

Everything else is and will be Biden's fault per Trump and his sycophants.

They can't explain away the good economy we had until Trump started his trade war in a self-inflicted wound on the U.S. economy.

It. Does. Not. Matter.

Trump supporters reject truth and embrace lies.

This isn't going to change.

Trump should have written The Art of the Blame. He's an imbecile and a coward.

While Trump Touts Stock Market, Many Americans Are Left Out Of The Conversation (March 1, 2017)
www.npr.org

... President Trump likes to tout the booming stock market as evidence that he is already boosting the economy. He bragged about it in his speech to Congress on Tuesday night, and then got more to the point on Wednesday, when the Dow Jones industrial average closed above 21,000 for the first time. ...

People Are Confused As Heck About Donald Trump's Latest Post About The Stock Market (April 30, 2025)
www.yahoo.com

... We're 100 days into Donald Trump's second term!

I'm sure you're well aware that the stock market hasn't been doing so hot in that time, with CNN reporting that the market had its worst first 100 days for any presidential term in the past 50 years. ...

"This is Biden's Stock Market, not Trump's." ...

So, in 2017, Pres Trump took credit for a rising stock market, and did not blame it on fmr Pres Obama.

But now, when the stock market is not doing so well, Pres Trump is quick to blame it on fmr Pres Biden.

Kind of like Biden and Harris blaming Trump for everything wrong with the economy THREE YEARS AFTER HE WAS NOT IN OFFICE ANYMORE. And Obama blaming W EVEN DURING HIS SECOND TERM (but even more hilariously he kept and even extended most of W's legislation regarding the economy during his terms)!

These statements are not hypothetical; they are easily researched and proven. So many of you are so hypocritical beyond any debate and still do it which just provides more evidence you are doing it on purpose and weaponizing hypocrisy. And you will just cry but, but, but orange man bad...Reps don't agree with us so they bad...wah wah wah...this is different because waaaaaah. Just remember, no matter how much you cry about it, it doesn't change reality.

You're hilarious. The Biden/Harris economy was doing very well one year, two years, three years, four years after Trump left office. Why would they blame Trump for everything wrong with a STRONG economy?

If you Google "Biden blames economy on Trump", the only results that come are "Trump blames economy on Biden".

"hypocrisy"

*drink*

It's Trump's Economy Now

Yup. Unlike other administrations who would still be letting the economy coast on the policies of the previous administration, Trump 2.0 has a clear, obvious signal of them dun f*&^ed it up.

Entirely unforced, as well.

I'm hopeful that when the House and Senate MAGAts cut their foodstamps, Medicaid, Medicare, and SS so they can give Elmo a tax break and more contracts, and give Dotard and his billionaire cabinet massive tax cuts, that some in the MAGAt base will be able to put two and two together as they send their autistic children into the fields to pick vegetables for $5 an hour, and realize that this is not normal and NOT what the gawd king promised. His approval can and will go lower, to the point where he has to flee the country to avoid prosecution or winding up like Mussolini.
