Russias current strategy is no different than when Nixon would bomb the ---- out of the Vietnamese to get them back to the table for peace negotiations.

So, in addition to annexing Ukraine, Pres Putin now wants to prevent other Countries from expressing their desire to join NATO as a condition for peace?

imo, Pres Trump blew it, big time, when he seemed to give Pres Putin all he wanted with Ukraine even before negotiations started.

Now, Pres Putin, exploiting the apparent weakness of Pres Trump?, is asking for even more.

Once Lewzer pulls out of NATO that won't matter as much.

@#9 ... pulls out of NATO ...

Yup.

That seems to be in line with what Pres Putin wants to occur.

The US pulling out of NATO. Stifling NATO's ability to allow more Countries to ask for membership.

And, I do want to note once again, nations ask to join NATO.

They are not invaded and annexed, as seems to be Pres Putin's approach.

In the event of a NATO Enlargement lasting more than four decades, seek North Korean help immediately.

Go ahead and sign, give it the same validity that Russia gave the accords to never invade Ukraine for giving up their nukes.
