Unrest sparked by federal immigration raids in Los Angeles provided a questionable catalyst for President Donald Trump to stage a demonstration of military force. Trump wrote on Truth Social on Monday: "Looking really bad in L.A. BRING IN THE TROOPS!"

Trump's rhetoric suggests he's eyeing political objectives that go beyond the immediate situation in Los Angeles, which, compared with historical precedents, hardly seems to justify a unilateral presidential intervention.

He is delivering a warning to Democratic jurisdictions nationwide that oppose his deportation moves. And he's not simply demonstrating his desire to militarize his crackdown on undocumented migrants, which he promised in the 2024 campaign despite legal constraints. He's implying he'll use the military, specifically the National Guard, to act against protest and dissent - a prospect that is troubling in a democratic society.

The good news, when Trump cancels midterms, is that the 90 million eligible voters who sat out the last election probably won't notice.

Golden Trump is a poor man's idea of a rich man, a weak man's idea of a strong man, and a stupid man's idea of a smart man.

Trump is eager for blood.

If, by the Grace of God, no actual blood presents itself he'll manipulate the situation until he gets what he wants.

He's a tyrant and a monster. All nations get their turn in the barrel with such freaks and now it's our turn.

Here's hoping that all of his insane plans blow up in his face.

he'll manipulate the situation until he gets what he wants.

That's precisely what he's in the midst of doing now.

Stephen Miller hates LA because he was an incel Nazi creeper when he went to school here, and nobody likes him. FDT is butthurt because he thinks there are no Repubicans here, and he is afraid of Gavin Newsom.

The whole lot of them are in the FA portion of the current situation. The FO component is coming, and within a population of 10 million people, it'll be interesting to see how little they understand what it is they're doing.

Thinling back tp the protests of the past where no President called out the National Guard without the governoington DCr of the state asking for it since Lyndon Johnson did to integrate the University of Alabama; we've had huge proyests since then over Civul Rights, the Vietnam War and even the Iraq invasion which were all far larger and with more violence that what has been happening in LA; as many have said this use of the National Guard eithout the permission of Gov. Newsom is just a pokitical game to try and embarrass Newsom but it is backfiring on Trump and now you add in the stupid birthday parade Donald Trump is showing America what a foolish attention hog he is and with the economy tAmerica is going to laugh this senile old fool out of Washington Dhe way he has devestatated it Americans are going to laught this senile old fool out of Washington DC. There will be no mercy from comedians on TV.

Please please arrest my governor.

I just need that final push to get my ass out into the streets.

I already have all the tactical gear I need. And I am right now trying to decide whether to buy that nice sniper rifle and this cool pistol I saw or that deep sink from Costco to help facilitate washing the dogs.

Decisions decisions!
