"Hooker doesn't appear to have sought healthcare or testing to confirm his symptoms were measles and not another infection. Other viral and bacterial infections may cause rashes, which is why medical providers need to conduct tests to confirm measles cases"

There's no way to confirm this guy actually had measles.

" There's no way to confirm this guy actually had measles."

Riiiiiiight. In the same way a guy spends a month in Thailand, but "there no way to confirm this guy actually had Asian food".

Regardless of the fact he went into a measles hotbed, and came out with measles symptoms ... he didn't tell authorities anything. Aren't public safety officials taught to assume the worst?

If it's nothing to worry about, why not come clean?

@#10 - (Occum: He probably figured he had more to lose by admitting, than by infecting.)

Likely.

And, btw, Occam's Razor? --- :)

But, to your point, imo, a chief scientific officer of Children's Health Defense (as stated in the cited article) should have been more proactive, but that might then have drawn unwanted attention to his "cause" that looked a lot by measles. Why did he continue to travel before he may have attempted to find out what he had?

Did he try leeches? I hear they are still effective and approved by RFK JR.

(AKA the whale blubber sucking baby bear dumping worm brain man)

Perhaps he should try some of that speaking in tongues faith healing cure.

Thoughts and prayers baby.. you may still die of whatever you have but hey.. no deductibles!

If only there were some sort of medical procedure available to help prevent diseases. Maybe we should pray for one to come along.
