Why it matters: Trump works transactionally, and companies have rushed to pay demonstrative homage. Now, senior aides will have data to consult when considering corporate requests.

The unusual spreadsheet fits this administration's proclivity for micromanaging companies and administering loyalty tests."

Finally transparency,

This has existed in every administration, just read a book on any President since Nixon, corporations have been on positive or negative of every administration.

At one time Musk's companies were being sued by 7 Federal agencies, and 2 state agencies.
But it didn't occur until Musk picked a side.

Its nice for this to be out in the open. Good for transparency, a Capitalist Credit Score is a good idea.

The lawsuits, or the law breaking?

They aren't even trying to hide the fascist desires behind code language. Happens in most empires, wealth concentrates in fewer and fewer hands, and then the few rule over the many using violence, intimidation, and of course, fake news acting as propaganda outlets, you know, Fox.

Nothing Trump does, literally nothing, causes any concern to the dopes in his cult.

Trump is really cranking up the Cronyism.

And deplorable Trumping MAGAts are excited about it.

No less than 83 billionaires donated to Harris' campaign in 2024.

Democrats love their billionaires.

Joe Biden to billionaires in 2020 "nothing will fundamentally change"

If it sounds like an Oligarchy and if it smells like an Oligarchy. and tastes like an Oligarchy then it probably is an Oligarchy! MAGAs celebrate! Y'all built that! I hope you still like it six months from now but I seriously doubt that you will butdon't worry....you can always blame Obama/Biden and Hillary too! Just say it was all caused by Obamacare! But hey, MAGAs are just former Bushies which is like saying they aren't just dumb; they're double dumb!

Was there a point you were trying to make?

What's the relevance between what Trump is currently doing and the fact billionaires control both parties?

You're up, butterball.

Tell us about the fundamental change is Trump bringing, with his Loyalty Ratings.
Will citizens be getting Loyalty Ratings too? Will I get points just for being white? Will people who donated to Democrats get be sent to camps?

These are the fundamental changes you voted for.
So tell us about the bright future coming our way, thanks to Trump.

Republicans love them more.
Republicans nominated one for President.

Trump's entire cabinet is billionaires, busy raping this nation for personal gain and to carry out personal vendettas.

#17 | Posted by ClownShack at 2025-08-17 03:59 PM | Reply

The fundamental change that Trump delivered to the billionaires, that Biden did not, is a massive redistribution of wealth upwards to the billionaires.

Now, why Republicans voted for that, is the kind of thing political scientists will spend their careers writing about.

And part of the reason is you can't just get LftHndThrds to answer "Why did you and so many other Americans who aren't billionaires vote for a massive redistribution of wealth upwards to the billionaires?" and get a straight answer. You get the a Definitely Not Straight But Hasn't Figured That Out Yet answer involving Bathrooms, Hair Sniffing, and Truck Stops.

I think, when the dust settles, it was easier to give their money away, than accept gay people and trans people and immigrants and women as equals.

- "Why did you and so many other Americans who aren't billionaires vote for a massive redistribution of wealth upwards to the billionaires?"

Because they are going to be billionaires, too, some day! And when they are they don't want to pay taxes, either.

Either that, or 'owing a lib' is better than being a billionaire.

Absolutely.

Trump used hate, fear and ignorance to galvanize a dying party.

They can't say what they are for, only what they are against.
As I am now living through this, and by this I mean the rise of a dictatorship,
I can see a lot more clearly, playing out in front of me, why this keeps happening.
Why people don't learn. Why people are so insistent on slogans rather than conversation.

If it doesn't fit on a bumper sticker it's too complicated for them.
You can't run a civilization like that.
Meanwhile, Republicans cheer for Trump's De-Ba'athification of the Federal Government.
