Republicans nominated one for President.

The fundamental change that Trump delivered to the billionaires, that Biden did not, is a massive redistribution of wealth upwards to the billionaires.

Now, why Republicans voted for that, is the kind of thing political scientists will spend their careers writing about.

And part of the reason is you can't just get LftHndThrds to answer "Why did you and so many other Americans who aren't billionaires vote for a massive redistribution of wealth upwards to the billionaires?" and get a straight answer. You get the a Definitely Not Straight But Hasn't Figured That Out Yet answer involving Bathrooms, Hair Sniffing, and Truck Stops.

I think, when the dust settles, it was easier to give their money away, than accept gay people and trans people and immigrants and women as equals.

They can't say what they are for, only what they are against.
