Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Saturday, August 16, 2025

Democrats across the country have been pushing back on President Trump's D.C. crime crackdown, citing statistics purportedly showing that crime in the nation's capital is down or even at historic lows, but an expert who spoke to Fox News Digital is pushing back on that narrative.

"But really what it is is a record of crimes that are reported to the police and then those of those crimes that get reported to the FBI. It's not a full record of all violent crimes, and this is a problem. And the FBI is very explicit about this when they present the data in their formal report every year, where they say, Do not directly compare the data from year to year because there are differences in how frequently people report crimes and how frequently the FBI gets that data from the local police agencies

"an expert who spoke to Fox News Digital is pushing back".....

Define "expert" please Bozo.

A legitimate expert wouldn't even waste their time.

See you in court where you cannot spread lies and misinformation without risking contempt or perjury charges you fargin ICE hole.

There's nothing happening in DC that demands military occupation.

Trump wants military occupation because that's what dictators do.

Democrats aren't cherry picking when they highlight declining crime in D.C. Data shows real drops since 2023 peaks. But it's key to remember FBI stats only reflect reported crimes and can vary year to year due to reporting differences. Trends matter, but data isn't perfect.

Does it really matter?

DC has a crime problem there is more crime than there is in my neighborhood.

Why shouldn't Americans expect there to be just as much crime in one neighborhood than another?

Are Asians a protected class?
Are African Americans an under class?

I see Witless and DonorBot are out of sorts.

They like the poor to be helpless

Gives them something to complain about.

DonorBot is like all those in the homeless industrial complex. Talk a good game, collect the money, do nothing for the people.

Suddenly dips^%#s like boaz care about data.

Otherwise it's all feeling all the time.

Even now, they're incapable of actually analyzing data right.

All in defense of a spray tanned pile of s%* destroying the country.

GFY mooch.

Expert: "We can't trust crime stats because of how they are reported!"
Same Expoert: "Let's compare 2024 with 2013!"

Irony: Using the expert's numbers, homicide was much lower until Trump took over the first time and then it started jumping.
