The U.S. Treasury finalized a $20 billion currency swap framework with Argentina and bought pesos in the open market on Thursday, making good on President Donald Trump's pledge to prop up the wobbling country and sending the peso and Argentine dollar bonds sharply higher.

What he not saying is that his friends and cronies invested a fortune in Argentina since their guy Milei won, they stand to lose a big chunk of those fortunes the way things are going, and Argentina's elections are in two weeks and we are tampering in them to bail Milei out.

I can remember a time, say about nine months ago, when such a bailout would enrage MAGA to the point of pissing their own pants.

Now the only thing you've got is the Epstein Files, and half of you no longer give a damn about that.

"Dollars to donuts" Trump family members/insiders bought Argentine currency before the US propped it up and sold after the US purchase and it hit its highs.

#4 You mean like when Barron made $80 million last week shorting the market right before Cankles announced the 100% tariffs?

Trading American farms for Argentinian farms.

Trading a $400,000,000 golden bribe for an Idaho AF base.

America first!

This is 20 billion dollars that the US can kiss goodby. If Argentina's president Milei is so righteous in his actions as a right wing neoliberal ---- why does he need the U$A to bail him out? Just think of what the U$A will look like in about six months with that orange traitor running the country into a ditch. People are down to eating one meal a day in Argentina and you right wingers are ok with the US becoming the same basket case as Milei's government which is exactly the same type of government the nazis under TRumpanzee wish to inflict upon the U$A.

September soybean imports (in china) reached the second-highest level on record, keeping domestic supply ample.
China's soybean supply outlook has become increasingly secure, supported by strong imports from January to September, a surge in purchases from Argentina

Meanwhile China, which normally accounts for over half of US soybean exports, has not placed a single order for U.S. soybeans in the new crop year.

Trump shut down the government over $800k to provide Americans with healthcare.

But $20 Billion for Argentina's corrupt government?

No problem!

Don't expect the see a single deplorable Trumping MAGAt to comment on this thread.

They support cutting healthcare for Americans and don't question trump's motives behind giving $20 billion to Argentina to supply up their failed government.
