Opening sentence emended to:
President Dummkopf Cankletrumpf is still working on a proposal to address a spike in Obamacare health insurance premiums while barely being able to waddle on a golf course.

Donald Trump is profoundly lazy, among his other many faults.
He ain't been working on nothing.

At the moment The Lamest Donald Duck(!) of All Time is pissing off more Republicans than his poll numbers can stand; he's already down to the bare basement of his Base.
Between bringing back Obamacare Credits, that he told the Republicans to diss during the Epstein Shutdown, playing footsies in the WH with Mamdani, and pretending not to do what Vlad tells him to do... and about to Fire half his Cabinet for Loyal Incompetency, not to mention making the splashes that will cause a Blue Wave and wipe them out, well, I hate to be the one to say this, but: He's quacking up.

The big sticking point in the White House's health care proposal www.politico.com
... The White House's silence on how its health care plan deals with abortion is causing a headache for Republicans on Capitol Hill. For many GOP members, an expansion of abortion restrictions in Obamacare is a must-have. But the White House's decision to leave the issue out of its tentative framework caught Republicans off guard, leaving them in the dark about whether the president would ultimately stake out a position publicly, according to two aides granted anonymity to disclose private discussions. ...

The Trump / MAGA /GOP health care plan for the plebs should take only a couple lines on a single sheet of paper. The absolute bestest, mostest, biglyest, ever seenest plan will be available in: 2 weeks........2 weeks........2 weeks........2 weeks........2 weeks..............
followed by the actual plan: 1. Work until you are disabled, 2. Die fast or, a) face deportation to a sand bar in the middle of the ocean (bigly water that's very wet)

What the insurance company's want is to get rid of the mandates and bring back junk insurance. And also to get rid of the pre existing conditions requirements. But the Republicans know that that would be untenable so what they plan is to make the program so horrible that the public will accept a new approach that LOOKS better but without those mandates.
So the goal is to make it a LOT worse by ending the mandates. And only then implement "pretend" improvements that lack those mandates. This is the entire philosophy behind privatization. Make it massively worse, then public cries out, then you make it slightly better and much of the public moves on.
It's actually a brilliant strategy and our media goes along with it.

Hey, MAGA-hat folk who are getting their healthcare cut, or re-priced to unaffordable levels: what the hell was your orange god doing in those four years between jobs? Didn't he have time to come up with a super-de-duper healthcare plan for the US? And all those toadies surrounding him must have had some ideas to offer, if only he had asked them. Why are we here now, staring into the abyss? Many MAGA folk declare that 'there is more work to be done' in their justification for voting for this despot--wasn't healthcare part of that work? Anyone? Anyone? Vance?

I remember the cl0wns insisting the ACA "wasn't well thought out". It was passed in 2010. Four election cycles ago...

There have been two government shutdowns trying to undo "Obamacare" and a couple thousand challenges... that is not an exaggeration.
Keep in mind... Ted Cruz... the slithery mastermind of so much of the anti-ACA activity from day one... has his eyes on the Oval Office... which might be more of a half circle office when Trumpanzee finishes installing the koi pond full of fat "gold" fishes...

RIGHT/TRITE
Unfortunately, the ACA is better known by a name that sends shivers of vindictive hatred down Trump's spine.
OBAMA actually accomplished "signature legislation" and then went on to earn a Nobel Peace Prize while, at the same time, managed international and domestic challenges with aplomb and dignity, a character trait that Trump could never comprehend in a lifetime.
In fact, Barack Obama, out of office lo these many years, is still more popular than Trump.
And for that, Obama and all that he accomplished MUST BE DESTROYED.
And, Yes, Trump really is that snotnosed petty.

and then went on to earn a Nobel Peace Prize
Before anyone freaks out, he got the Peace Prize first.
aplomb and dignity, a character trait that Trump could never comprehend in a lifetime.
True that.

I stand corrected. Nonetheless, the fact remains that Obama's administrations reach a height of excellence that has earned him eternal respect.
