"The U.S. trade deficit unexpectedly narrowed in September"
How convenient.
When Trump starts releasing the bad data I'll start believing the good.

Fewer exports. And even fewer imports!
A shrinking economy is a Republican Win.

So the Republicans Win?
I don't think they do, but given your logic, certainly seems like it.
Unless of course you want to equivocate on what "fewer" and "rose" means.

"data from the Commerce Department showed on Thursday."
Nothing put forward by this administration can be believed or trusted without verification from at least 2 RELIABLE sources.
Has the "data" been verified?
The government will release its first estimate of third-quarter GDP on December 23 after it was delayed by the longest shutdown in history.
So they just made up the data?
How Trumpian of them.

Does it matter?
I guess someone needs to mansplain to me the significance of trade deficits. Because in my mind, they don't. In fact, in my mind, trade deficits are likely indicative that the enconomy has moved from a production economy to a knowledge economy. And that's a good thing.
I know few of you ever stepped foot in an econ classroom, but google comparative advantage versus absolute advantage.

Does it matter if the data is real or just made up? Not if you are a trumper. It only has to feel like it should be true. And if Trumpy says it's true it does not matter if it's true or not. It is now true because Trumpy said it is. And if you don't believe him then he will just poop on you. .
I guess someone needs to mansplain to me the significance of trade deficits.
Are you a woman?
We can only mansplain things to women.

Can't wait!

Holy ----, you correctly identified a feature of the United States economy! We are a next exporter of services, but a net importer of goods.
So really, your job is to mansplain this: Why is Trump trying to re-home manufacturing, and reverse the trajectory of what we both see as a successful economic arc?
