Pirro: "You bring a gun into the District, you mark my words, you're going to jail. I don't care if you have a license in another district and I don't care if you're a law abiding law owner somewhere else. You bring a gun into this District, count on going to jail. And that makes all the difference"

So, Trump and his people are coming out against the 2nd Amendment in advance of the November elections.

Not a question. A statement.

Gee. I knew of a time, far less than a year ago, when statements like that would cause MAGA to piss its knickers.

I said from the beginning that this administration would be the most anti-2A administration of our lifetimes.

DC has some of the most restrictive gun laws in the nation.

What is not surprising is how fast these 2A god warriors rush to strict gun control when it serves them.

School kids are still free to get gunned down in their classrooms.

If it weren't for hypocrisy the GOP would stand for nothing at all.

Trump is building a super bunker under the White House.

The National Guard are still patrolling the streets of DC.

The 2nd amendment is no longer valid in DC.

Trump is openly discussing ways Republicans can steal the midterms.

This country lasted 249 years.

It had a good run.

In three years, either Trump will die of a massive stroke/MI or else the country will be in anarchy.
Right now (checking the tip sheet), Vegas has it 50/50.

Pirro appears to walk back threats to arrest gun owners in DC

... But less than 24 hours later, Pirro attempted to reframe her earlier comments, writing in a social media post that she is "a proud supporter of the Second Amendment."...

The NRA's not happy.

NRA was right. They want our guns. NRA was just wrong about which party it was.

More like wrong for thinking it was only 1 party.

@#14 ... NRA was just wrong about which party it was. ...

It is beginning to look that way.

Charlie Kirk once said 2nd Amendment is for citizens to 'defend themselves' against tyrannical government
www.snopes.com/fact-check/charlie-kirk-2nd-amendment-tweet/">www.snopes.com

...In late January 2026, a claim circulated online that Turning Point USA CEO and cofounder Charlie Kirk once said that the U.S. Constitution's Second Amendment was "not for hunting" or "self protection," but rather "to ensure that free people can defend themselves" from a tyrannical government.

The rumor spread in the wake of the killing of 37-year-old Alex Pretti at the hands of federal immigration officers in Minneapolis on Jan. 24, 2026, just two weeks after Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer Jonathan Ross fatally shot Renee Good in similar circumstances in the Minnesotan city. ...

The NRA has been a front for Putin to put Russian mob money into Republican election campaigns for at least a decade now, via Maria Putina.

You'll surrender your guns to your pedo king in a jiffy. Probably lick the boots of the ice officers coming to your door to ask for them.

You won't be shot if you do exactly what you're told, which you will do obediently. Goes double for you when they ask you to get in the rail car with all the other gun owners.

Between 1975 and 2008, you could not even POSSESS a handgun in Washington DC, not even in the privacy of your home. The rate of gun violence in the District exploded, proving the adage, "If guns were outlawed, only outlaws would have guns". A Supreme Court case overturned the DC law, but the current revision is still very restrictive.

So, might Att Pirro be focused too much on the symptom, and not the cause?
