They are Iranians, Not Australians.

Their Country was Attacked by more Powerful and Devious Enemies.

Why Would they Stay in Australia?

Their Families and lives are in Iran.

It's Amazing to Me that the Australians thought they would stay.

It's like they think "Safety" is the only human Need or Value.

Dumb.

Their Families and lives are in Iran.

Exactly, Iran was probably threatening their families.

This is the same regime that killed citizens in the streets by the 1000s just 4 weeks or so ago.

It's Amazing to Me that the Australians thought they would stay.

Agreed when Iran is nothing but a thug country with Islamic pretenses.

It's like they think "Safety" is the only human Need or Value.

Not the "only" but certainly a primary, nothing like leveraging your loved ones back home to emotionally blackmail you.

Nice work FootPoser, you finally get it.

Wow, you actually both have valid comments on this. Paint me stunned. I can see them wanting to be near family and at the same time I can see the government blackmailing them.

Like when ICE deports someone and tells them, take your United States citizen kid with you, or we will keep her in the camps.

Their families were probably kidnapped and being held hostage. That's what Islam does.

You're funny, you wouldn't believe it if her family was dismembered and sent to your doorstep.

But here :

Shiva Amini, an exiled Iranian former soccer player, claimed the players chose to go home following "intense and systemic pressure on the players' families" from Iran's Football Federation.

"Several of the players decided to go back because the threats against their families became unbearable and the intimidation was relentless," she wrote on X on Sunday.

There is no doubt their families and friends were kidnapped and tortured in order to force these women to return to Iran where they will immediate be arrested and tortured.

The fact they didn't think their actions through before they took them is unfortunate.

If you're going to defect you have to be willing to accept any consequences for the people you leave behind. Because they're the ones who will pay for your decision.

Most people would be willing to put up with incarceration and a few broken ribs if it meant their loved ones were free.

Best of luck to these women.

They're not going ti see daylight for quite some time.

Why did you leave Iran or was it with your parents?

What year?

I also remember reading you are Gay.

I know Iran is a bad place to be Gay.

Is that why you left?

Are you Muslim?

I mean no Disrespect.

I'm trying to understand what's Really going on.

I have no idea what that means, but if you believe King Dotard wouldn't mow down protesters in the street if he could get away with it, you haven't been paying attention.

Why did you leave Iran or was it with your parents?

I was born here.

Parents moved to America in the mid 60's for college.

Sorry to tell you, Iran doesn't have a benevolent government.

Most people living there are miserable.

Sad thing is, the majority of Iranians love America.

Despite how many times America has fuck up their government.

My dad was raised Catholic and I was raised more agnostic.

I pity them. They're doomed either way as are their families.
