"It's a war." That's what Todd Blanche told the Federalist Society a few months ago while asking lawyers to join the fight against "rogue activist judges" -- even as violent threats against judges rise. He's the last person who should lecture anyone on dangerous rhetoric.

Alito is the One who needs to "Retire".

Even Trump thinks so.

He wants a youngun in that Seat.

Like a 50 year old.

Retire Justice Alito...

For the Children.

Judge Jeanine has no chance of being Attorney General, and Todd Blanche has even less chance. I hope he enjoys the perks of the job for the next 7+ months, before he 'returns to a job in the private sector', or 'goes to live on a farm upstate'...

When Paul Pelosi was attacked and bludgeoned with a hammer, it was immediately treated like a giant joke by the right including the Orange Chomo and his crotch fruit.

The Orange Chomo loved re-trothing photos on the back of a pickup truck of Biden kidnapped.

The Orange Chomo, when Melissa Hortman was actually assassinated by a far right nutjob said he wasn't going to call her family or attend the funeral.

When Fivehead Gates, Pete Kegbreath and others on the violent right all posted "8646" that was okay.

So you can ---- off with your delicate concerns.

nobody is going to accept that premise.

Not even when a rightwing judge receives the threats.

It will be assumed that nobody who is a self-described liberal or a registered democrat could possibly levy a death threat.

And regardless.........even if it happens, the news item here is that it's "surging" and think we can all agree that's being fueled by Trump and his followers.

@#13 ... Were you here when SCOTUS judges were targeted? ...

Specifics needed.

And, while you are looking up those specifics, please allow me to also add these specifics ...

The Judiciary Is Under Attack
www.americanbar.org

... At a Federalist Society event in late 2025, former Department of Justice (DOJ) Chief of Staff Chad Mizelle argued that Congress should impeach federal judges who found the president's policies unlawful. "This [opposition] is a problem of leftist politics" and not the law, he claimed. Adam Lynch, Trump AG Ally "Turns Heads" at Conservative Legal Conference with New Power Grab Ploy, AlterNet (Nov. 7, 2025). His comments came the same week that two senators and one House member demanded the impeachment of D.C. District Court Chief Judge James Boasberg, who has presided over high-profile litigation surrounding the administration's immigration policies, and the same month that a Texas congressman filed articles of impeachment against him. Press Release, Eric Schmitt, US Sen. for Mo., Senator Schmitt Leads Colleagues in Calling for the Suspension, Impeachment of Judge Boasberg (Nov. 17, 2025); Press Release, Brandon Gill, Congressman, TX, Rep. Gill Files Impeachment Articles Against Judge Boasberg Following Arctic Frost Scandal (Nov. 4, 2025). These stories barely made the news.

Just a few years ago, both media and most elected officials would have decried these attacks on a coequal branch of government as unprecedented and dangerous. Now, they are the new norm. ...

Ironically the law was not followed in the 2020 election and it was the courts themselves that refused to uphold the law.

Actually the law wa followed when Trump's own hand-picked DOJ refused to follow his orders to rig the Election.

Trumpers pretend that never happened.

Where's the irony there?

Sounds more like a Patriot's justification for death threats, rather than any sort of irony surrounding death threats.
