Taking a step back from this latest miasma to emerge from the mouth of Pres Trump ...

His comment indicates the qualification of those senior officials who surround him in the White House, and his possible interaction with those officials.

Stated differently, were Pres Trump's senior advisors chosen by Pres Trump because they would only agree with him, or were they chosen for their knowledge of their tasks?

But the question I have to ask is along the lines of ...

How long before the GOP realizes what they have been supporting?

And as a followup question ...

When might they eventually grow the backbone to do something about it?
