More: In the U.S. military, commanders do not typically speak publicly about future operations to avoid tipping off an adversary or jeopardizing the mission's success and, possibly, American lives.

But that has not dissuaded America's commander in chief from proclaiming when and how the United States will next attack Iran.

For the second day in a row, President Trump on Thursday threatened in a social media post that the United States would hit Iran "VERY HARD TONIGHT," and may soon take Kharg Island, the heart of Iran's oil economy.

Mr. Trump said the same thing on Wednesday, and hours later American warplanes and Tomahawk missiles struck dozens of Iranian radars, air defenses and other military targets in the Strait of Hormuz and elsewhere around the country.

On Wednesday, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, who has criticized reporters for asking about future operations, suddenly decided it was OK to forecast U.S. bombing raids.

"So those strikes that will happen tonight will be strong. They will be clear," Mr. Hegseth told reporters traveling with him to the headquarters of U.S. Central Command in Tampa, Fla., which oversees military operations in the Middle East. "If they happen to happen tomorrow night, they will be strong, and they will be clear."

"In case you were wondering just how much of a warmonger Donald Trump is, he posted a very lengthy screed on Truth Social tonight which told us exactly what he plans to do.

Now, I'm not going to read this whole thing, but I do want to go over the first four paragraphs because his desire to use the power of the United States military has never been more obvious. Here is what he said:

"No other president has ever been more committed to both rebuilding our great military and saving our great country. And now is the time to make it happen for generations to come."

And obviously Trump is once again portraying himself as the savior of America.

"I am hereby calling on Republicans in Congress to immediately advance and pass the forthcoming 350 billion dollar reconciliation bill recon 3.0 which at the request of our great department of war will include the Save America Act as well.

No games, no delays, no weak compromises. Do this ASAP. This is a generational investment in our military, even bigger than President Reagan's.

Recon 3.0 is the only path to the full $1.5 trillion dollar military budget our warriors need in order to build the arsenal of freedom."

"We will defend the homeland with the Golden Dome. Launch the unstoppable Golden Fleet, dominate the skies with the F47 and B-21, supercharge our ammunition stockpiles, and achieve total space force and drone dominance."

So, make no mistake about it. Donald Trump has not been promoting a $1.5 trillion defense budget in order to not use it."

Pedo47 and Keghead have no idea how to win this war.

If they did, they would have won it already.

What they did do was believe that the US would win the war easily because they have purged all the dissenting voices out of the chain of command. There is no one there to present them with scenarios other than their own. That is why they are losing this war. Sure they're blowing up Iranian school children and civilian water facilities, but they are nowhere close to Iran surrendering. Iran's military leadership is layered with redundancy and decentralized command structures to ensure it will live on when any part of the chain of command is taken out. The idiots in charge did not understand that.

Now we are constantly lied to with "Iran is begging to surrender" and "We are 2-3 days/weeks away from them surrendering".

Pissing away hundreds of billions of dollars and getting humiliated on the world stage on a daily basis all because the racist in the oval bordello could not accept the fact that they black guy got the Iranians to agree to no nuclear bombs.

Yeah, agreement abounds.

Broadcasting possible attacks before they occur allows the enemy to prep for the attacks.

That preparation, among other things, as #1 notes, may endanger the lives of Americans.

Didn't Sec Def Hegseth do a similar thing with an insecure online chat he had that invited an Atlantic journalist to participate?

Imagine applying the rule of law to the Trump gangster administration...first in line to be investigated and charged with war crimes would be Trump for those murders on the high seas, for those murders in Iran. We cannot at once tell other nations they must follow the law, but as for ourselves, we are murder incorporated itself.
