The people who hired on under this administration were nuts anyway. Not people with a long-term view on their career.
Hopefully a Trump administration job on a resume is eventually viewed like Charles Manson's swastika-adorned third eye.

Fear of being scapegoated to cover up Trump's irresponsibility is possibly another reason.
I'd also guess that Trump's quest for unlimited power is skating on thin ice in the midterms. Nobody wants to be the last soldier to get killed in Trump's war on democracy, if you get my drift.

I'd suggest a mass exodus before the midterms so they can still claim a modicum of integrity. Even then, their reputation would be sketchy. Guilt by association, so to speak. It's a career killer.
