With less than 100 days before the midterm elections, Republican pollsters are sounding alarm bells amid a frightening lack of enthusiasm from their base of voters. On Sunday, The Washington Post reported that Americans for Prosperity Action, a super PAC affiliated with the Koch brothers, found that roughly 1 in 5 voters in the GOP's base could stay home this fall or even cast ballots for Democrats. The group found that these voters are frustrated with the affordability crisis that President Donald Trump has exacerbated with his tariffs and the war in Iran. |
