Analyst Nate Silver said Sunday that Americans may be "moving on" from President Trump amid rocky political territory for the president and his party.

"It's kind of striking how, apart from Iran, most of the Trump-related stories this summer have been boring and dumb (reflection pool, White House Correspondents' Dinner) or kind of funny (FIFA), maybe we're moving on from him being the central figure in American politics," Silver said in a post Sunday morning on the social platform X.

"The Iran war, which is nearing the five-month mark, has driven up oil and gas prices. Per AAA, the average price of a gallon of gas in the U.S. Monday morning was about $4.11, up from about $3.15 last year.

According to a polling average from Decision Desk HQ (DDHQ), Trump's approval rating was sitting at 41.8 percent as of Monday morning, with 56.1 percent disapproving.

According to a recent forecast from DDHQ, Democrats are favored to take back the House but are slightly behind in the battle for the Senate with only a few months until November."

Dear Leader will eventually "move on". He has no choice. No one does.

I have found that life in the Hunger Games is not a competition.

It's an endurance contest.
