"The Iran war, which is nearing the five-month mark, has driven up oil and gas prices. Per AAA, the average price of a gallon of gas in the U.S. Monday morning was about $4.11, up from about $3.15 last year.
According to a polling average from Decision Desk HQ (DDHQ), Trump's approval rating was sitting at 41.8 percent as of Monday morning, with 56.1 percent disapproving.
According to a recent forecast from DDHQ, Democrats are favored to take back the House but are slightly behind in the battle for the Senate with only a few months until November."

But Dummkopf Trumpf's name is going on US currency and passports. An airport has been named after him.
How can we ever "move on" from Dear Leader?

Dear Leader will eventually "move on". He has no choice. No one does.
Then WE can all move on.

True enough, for the bell will eventually toll for the Dotard who destroyed America.

"Maybe we're moving on from him being the central figure in American politics."
Nate Silver was more fun when it was pure stats, and then it seemed he was either released from his duties everywhere, or he went to the highest bidder.
"Maybe" is a big maybe here. Trumpism is going to be hanging over us a long time after his demise. How many decades are we going to have to expend at every level of government in this country to put the adults back in charge, if it ever happens?
Nate Silver, for me, is about as relevant a commentator as James Carville is now, except for the fact that his shtick isn't whining out of his skeletal Cajun ass.

I truly dread when the butcher's bill comes due once he's packed his bags and slithered off. We also have to keep in mind he wasn't the only one who obscenely benefitted financially from Trump's two torturous terms in office. Collaborators. Co-Respondents.
