Nearly 30,000 pounds of raw beef imported from Argentina was recalled last week after it entered the United States without undergoing the required federal reinspection, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Florida-based Corte Argentino USA LLC is recalling about 29,628 pounds of raw beef, the USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service announced Friday. The beef was sent out to distributors and stores in Florida and Texas, although it's unclear how widespread the meat was sold in those states. |
