"What he's saying: Trump said Monday afternoon that fears of "AI taking over the World, destroying Humanity, and all other things bad, is a HOAX," putting it on par with Russian election interference claims and his own impeachments.

He said the AI development "will not be stopped by brilliantly run Destructive Forces" under his presidency.

"WHOEVER WINS AI, WINS! We are leading China, and all others, and will continue to do so."

Trump said his administration "has stopped AI 'people' from doing bad, or potentially bad, 'things,'" though he didn't elaborate.

The other side: China's Foreign Ministry also criticized calls to slow AI development Monday, per CNBC.

"Fear-mongering, confrontation, competition will just disrupt [the] process of global AI governance," said Guo Jiakun, a spokesperson for China's Foreign Ministry."

China already has upwards of a billion Security Forces Cameras trained on their own people; meant to control them.

"Make America China Again!"

"China's censorship and surveillance were already intense. AI is turbocharging those systems"

"China is harnessing AI to make its existing systems of control far more efficient and intrusive.

AI lets the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) monitor more people, more closely, with less effort," said Nathan Attrill, a report co-author and senior China analyst at ASPI, which is partially funded by the Australian and other foreign governments.

"In practice, AI has become the backbone of a far more pervasive and predictive form of authoritarian control."

AI only needs a "STRONG AND SMART (High IQ!) PRESIDENT"

So does America.

I hope we get one soon.

DJT may be a cunning corporate ploy to make America think that they are lucky to have someone like JD Vance.* ;)

"I only needs a "STRONG AND SMART (High IQ!) PRESIDENT"

Absolutely correct.

Let us know when we get one that isn't Donald J. Trump or J.D. Vance (Peter Thiel)

January 3rd would be the right time.

I expect Trump to file a slew of lawsuits (and appeals) contesting the result as a means to prevent the swearing in of elected Democrats. That will be Mike Johnson's excuse to delay, delay, delay.

So, is this all coming from Trump's grifting part of his brain, or from his cognitive decline part, with Trump it is hard to tell. Trump acts like he or his family is invested in Ai in a major way.

He only needs one or two hundred IQ points to be considered high IQ.

The real issue is that he is heavily invested in AI stocks and is taking bribes from AI investors to leave it unregulated without a single care about what will happen down the road.

This is how he treats everything...does what he thinks is appropriate without ever considering the negative outcomes like every other sociopath on the planet.

Partially.

It's about holding onto power so he and his family can do more grifting . . interminably, in fact . . along with pursuing his vengeance trips against his enemies, real or imagined. He doesn't recognize the difference.

As for cognitive decline, meh. Probably. He has this fanciful idea that he's going to be crowned king in his golden ballroom. His heart will probably get him before that happens. Right now, because he's overdosing on aspirin, his blood is so thin it's barely pumping enough oxygen around the cholesterol in his arteries to his brain to keep him awake, let alone cognitive. He's on a downward slide.

Remember the ol' Roach Motel commercials? (Roaches can walk in but they can't walk out.)

The Iran War is Trump's Roach Motel. (so much for cognitive decline, huh?) He laid a trap for Iran and then walked into it himself.

It's not like he wasn't warned.

And this is the guy who thinks he should be in charge of AI. (LOL)

Remember that other "HOAX" that killed 1.2 million Americans!

.Will7 the threat from AI "just go away" with the c1hange of seasons?

Trump didn't use the word "probably," so BillJ knows Trump is certain of what he is saying, so much so that Trump doesn't need anyone questioning his command of the situation.

Having Trumpy as a Guardrail is a big reason why the Singularity cannot be stopped.

The decisions we make ( or don't make) right now about it will decide our futures.

The next 2 years are critical and we have President Moron who is apparently worse than Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho.

Being in way over his head already Trumpy will soon be looking for this guy named Not Sure to save us all from AI.

Hmmmm, I wonder how AI would solve Trump's Iran War problem.
