Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Tuesday, September 15, 2026

In National Security Presidential Memorandum 7, the White House laid out a national strategy for federal law enforcement, directing it to treat beliefs like "anti-Americanism, anti-Capitalism, and anti-Christianity" and "extremism on migration, race, and gender" as indicators of domestic terrorism.

Remember when Bellringer was complaining that the Biden administrations request for social media to crack down on misinformation was a violation of his rights to free speech? Yeah... this is MUCH worse.

In my view, Biden was asking for rejection of misinformation and lies from ANY source. This National NSPM-7 Center appears to be direct assault against speech that the extreme right simply doesn't agree with, or speech they don't want in the public sphere, factual or not. THIS is true government sanctioned censorship.

The second amendment was created to protect the first amendment.

Unfortunately most democrats are against the second amendment, which is why republicans feel comfortable infringing on the first amendment.

What will democrats do should republicans openly interfere with and steal the midterms?

Nothing? I'm betting it's nothing.

Worth a repeat.

This is wrong no matter which side or party is doing it.

You clowns cheered when Dems were aligned with big tech and Biden's handler's short lived Disinformation board and other acts of censorship, particularly during Covid.

What left trying to cast me as some kind of hypocrite is the ultimate act of self irony.

I oppose ALL of this. People like Whatsleft openly cheer it when it's his side doing it.

Hey stupid,

Biden wanted to curb misinformation about COVID.

He didn't censor people for mocking him, calling him Brandon, putting decals on their pickup trucks of Biden hogtied and gagged.

He didn't have people arrested for protesting, send private Gestapos into residential neighborhoods to arrest elderly people living in America for decades, create task forces to monitor people's social media posts to determine whether they were allowed to enter the country.

Face it. You're the reason Trump and republicans feel entitled to do whatever they want. Because come November you're going to vote party line Republican, like you always do.

Mike Rogers owns your vote. Because you're too big of a xenophobe and Islamophobe to vote for Abdul El-Sayed, despite El-Sayed being the better candidate for the future of Michiganders and Americans in general.

"short lived Disinformation board and other acts of censorship"

Huh? You've never found ANYTHING to this point other than an Editorial Board doing their job.

Do you finally have proof??? Or is this just another BS claim, to smokescreen for OBVIOUS censorship?

#9. You support censorship, especially when government aligns with the private sector to do it as long as it's your side doing it. I oppose ALL of it. See the difference?

If you opposed it you wouldnt have voted for trump.

Dems asked big tech to stop allowing deadly misinformation during a pandemic to save lives.
Trump is using big tech to track opponents of fascism.

It's the "false equivalency" approach that they often use because they seem to know their side of the argument is weak.

I'm willing to say that neither side should do it.. ..that provably harmful misinformation and lies should be culled no matter who distributes them.

You support the propagation of misinformation and lies through the government, the MSM, and the internet, ESPECIALLY if it's your side doing it. See the difference?

Got a direct quote did ya? I noticed that quote had reference to a modern concepts like "privately owned platforms," "online misinformation," "corporate mergers," and "purging comedians" that did not exist during the mid-20th century.

Is he there in the room with you?

You posting from hell again?

" that provably harmful misinformation"

Who makes the determination of what is " provably harmful misinformation"? And how do you determine what classifies as misinformation?

I'm all for censorship of misinformation and lies.

I suppose there's a slippery slope to that, it relies on the people doing the censoring to be honest and impartial.
