California Governor Gavin Newsom signed into law The Firearm Printing Prevention Act (AB 2047). This groundbreaking legislation will help stop the next generation of ghost guns before they are made by requiring consumer 3D printers sold in California to incorporate technology that identifies and blocks attempts to print firearms and illegal firearm parts.

1Nut is outraged at Cali Lumpers!

My position on guns is well known by posters here.

No-one should be in the possession of one until their hormones settle down, around 25yo.

I would also add, as the owner of the H2D, so long as it doesn't impose on me, I have no issue with this.
How many people are actually printing guns BTW?

Speaking of CAliLumpers.

So I guided my daughter to form a business, all the forms, registration etc. DeflectionDan would be proud. She hired a few friends, they worked and got paid via Intuit. All in the name of education for my soon to be CEO daughter.
Last week she received a CalSavers notification, and given that she hired her friends she now has to form a retirement program for them, they're 14-16.

So driving out to the San Martin Airport to do some flying together, and there's MrBBQChicken on Monterey road grilling about 100 thighs, smoke going everywhere, and my daughter says, "I doubt he's got a retirement plan".

Education..... California losing citizens one at a time.

State is off the HOOK with regulations, just incredible.

Since its Corky, I'll leave you with this gem : "AI's underlying purpose is to let wealth access skill while taking away the skilled person's ability to access wealth."

Why didn't you teach her how to get around the system? That seems to be when you're proudest.

" and my daughter says, "I doubt he's got a retirement plan""

Did you explain to her the difference between an employee and a business owner?

" she now has to form a retirement program for them, they're 14-16."

Did you explain to her an employee must be 18 for that requirement?

Or did you let her wallow in your ignorance?

- wallow in your ignorance?

That would be like diving into the Pacific.

Hopefully she gets earplugs for Christmas.

This reminds me of the movie, "In the Line of Fire" with Clint Eastwood, where John Malkovich tries to kill the President with a plastic gun.

Exciting times we live in.
