A federal judge on Wednesday ordered federal immigration authorities to stop investigations into voting by noncitizens in Connecticut and eight other states, finding that President Donald Trump's administration has used "faulty data sources that sweep in U.S. citizens" to target and interrogate people.

... U.S. District Court Judge Araceli Martinez-Olguin of California said the investigations based on flawed data as well as a social media campaign by the Trump administration showing arrests and interactions with armed officers at homes "create a reasonable fear of harm to those assisting and mobilizing voters."

The California Nurses Association and National Nurses United, two of the plaintiffs in a federal lawsuit filed last month, provided evidence that the administration's actions are "directly interfering with their members' right to encourage voters to participate in the 2026 midterm elections," Martinez-Olguin said in her ruling.

In Connecticut, Secretary of the State Stephanie Thomas applauded the decision on Friday.

"Think about what it would feel like to have federal agents show up at your door, based on unreliable data, and questioning whether you're eligible to vote " even though you're an American citizen," Thomas said. "And imagine that happening just days before an election." ...

This, along with other flimsy or manufactured evidence of non-citizen voting, Trump is setting up his cases to challenge the election results in states that Republican candidates lost.

Not that he expects to win in the lower courts but rather to delay the certification of new members while his DOJ slowly pursues appeal after appeal all the way up to Trump's Ace-in-the-Hole, the U.S. Supreme Court.

Meanwhile, he'll be yakking it up in the media in an effort to sow doubt in America's elections.

So, you seem to understand, and more importantly, clearly state what he is doing.

LAMP

I also clearly understand that, in attempting to sow doubts in America's elections, he's also planning on the drumbeat during and litigations after the midterms to have a brainwashing effect in 2028.

Fascist to his core...proves once again the John Kelly and James Mattis were right in their assessment of Trump. And thanks to that Federal Judge,Araceli Martinez-Olguin, for sticking with the law over MAGA.

Wow. You're the first person to ever think of that. No Dem has ever been able to think as deeply as you can.

They're not.

"Based on extensive research, official state audits, and empirical data, noncitizens do not vote in U.S. elections on any significant scale, and there is no evidence that noncitizen voting has altered federal or state election outcomes.

Brennan Center Audit (2016): Researchers surveyed election officials across 42 jurisdictions (representing 23.5 million votes cast in the 2016 general election). They identified only 30 total suspected cases of noncitizen voting referred for investigation"accounting for approximately 0.0001% of votes cast in those areas. 40 of the 42 jurisdictions reported zero known cases.

Heritage Foundation Fraud Database: The conservative Heritage Foundation maintains a public database of election fraud cases going back decades. Across hundreds of millions of votes cast between 2003 and 2022, their database lists fewer than 30 total convictions or enforcement actions nationwide involving noncitizens casting ballots.

Cato Institute Findings: Studies by the libertarian Cato Institute concluded that illegal noncitizen voting is statistically minimal and far too rare to sway election outcomes.

State Audits: Recent audits of voter rolls by state Secretaries of State (including states such as Georgia, Texas, Ohio, and North Carolina) consistently show that noncitizens who register or attempt to vote represent a tiny fraction of one percent of registered voters, with actual ballots cast being even rarer.
Summary

In summary, while administrative missteps or isolated illegal votes occasionally occur, empirical studies, state audits, and conservative and nonpartisan research groups all arrive at the same conclusion: noncitizen voting in U.S. elections is statistically negligible and lacks the scale to affect federal or state election results."

Feel better now?

As I've shown repeatedly, VA averages one PER DECADE, and TX (no slouch in prosecution) averages less than one per year.

While the barn door is open, no significant number of horses have actually gotten out. We'll continue to wait for the horses to be fully out before worrying about the door.

Explains why Trump DHS wanted to secretly get a voting machine and hack it.
So they can keep the door open for Trump to meddle with elections.

If the barn door was in fact open, a significant number of horses would have gotten out.

Your cult leader just needs to build a narrative that illegals are voting so he can call the elections fraudulent when he loses.
