I know the argument from progressives will be "Well, this is just a little bit of fraud, but could it be because no one was looking for it the reason we are find it now?

Your home state of NC averages less than one illegal vote conviction per year ... just like Texas.
Are those states not trying, or not concerned?
Or-and go with me on this-is the fact there just aren't that many illegals trying to vote???

A swing and a miss commie soyboy wannabe.
The New York Times did NOT "praise" Adolf Hitler, though its early coverage in the 1920s miscalculated the danger of the Nazi movement and relayed flawed assessments of his ideology.
Spread your agitprop elsewhere please.

... facing federal charges ...
So... not convicted yet?
Will these cases be thrown out, like many others Trump's DoJ has brought forward, due to ~lack of evidence?~

The guy who didn't vandalize the Lincoln Reflecting Pool also "faced federal charges." Heavy burden of proof on this regime, always.
