Ralph Nader just Tried to Pin Blame for SCOTUS Ruling on Hillary Clinton

The Nation justice correspondent Elie Mystal replied: "MAYBE CHIEF JUSTICE JOHN ROBERTS ISN'T THERE TO WRITE THIS OPINION TODAY IF YOU DON' T RUN FOR PRESIDENT OR DID YOU THINK PEOPLE WOULD FORGET THAT ON TODAY OF ALL MOTHERF"KING DAYS?"

I blame Nader for W. #1 | POSTED BY NIXON

What's Nader complaining about? Didn't he tell us that both parties are the same when he ran in 2000? Therefore Hillary would have appointed the same SCOTUS justices, right?

The narcissism of Greens on full display.

If it isn't Hillary's fault, then it most certainly is Obama's fault.

And never the fault of the eligible voters who allowed Trump/Dubbya to take the White House through action (voting for them) or inaction (e.g., voting Green or sitting at home on election day).

I blame racists like Gal_Tuesday.

Why is Obama to blame?

Go ahead and say the quiet part out loud...
we know you are thinking it.

Is it, because he's black?
A 'black man in the Whitey White House'?

you people (racists) are pathetic.

The only institution the left doesn't control is the supreme court. And it drives them crazy.

Really?

Dems took over the House? You should post that story!

Isn't Nader the guy who handed the 2000 election to Bush?

#13 | Posted by Derek_Wildstar at 2024-07-02 12:59 PM

Everything is 'Hillary's Fault!'(tm).... according to both the far right and the far left.

Now, if that doesn't tell you something, you aren't really listening.

#14 | Posted by Corky at 2024-07-02 01:00 PM

Ralph Nader
@RalphNader
A dictatorial, unelected majority in the Supreme Court has just rendered America a dictatorial president above the law. Thank you Hillary Clinton, whose blundering campaign let the dictatorial Trump become president and led to a rightwing dictatorial majority on the Supreme Court. -R

^This is the hardest pill for Democrats to swallow.

That Hillary losing in 2016 is Hillary's fault.

We're now in 2024 and the DNC is blindly backing Biden.

All the best in November! I know California will go to Biden, can you all say the same about your state results?

#15 | Posted by ClownShack at 2024-07-02 01:01 PM

#13

Bingo!

He also did Gore in in Florida.

#16 | Posted by Corky at 2024-07-02 01:02 PM

He's not wrong.

Hillary was the worst possible candidate, and the DNC pushed hard enough that she got in anyway.

Bernie would have beaten Drumpf. His second term would be about to end, we'd have single-payer healthcare, we wouldn't be supplying a genocide in Gaza, the Cuba embargo would have ended, Russia wouldn't be attempting genocide in Ukraine, Roe v Wade would still be in effect, weed would be legal nationwide, and the world wouldn't look at America as a complete clusterf---.

#17 | Posted by DarkVader at 2024-07-02 01:05 PM

Elections are a confluence of many factors. Blaming one person is idiotic.

That said, imagine a timeline where Biden runs and wins in 2016, we never have a Trump presidency, Biden is term limited out at 81 instead of running for re-election, and SCOTUS is 6-3 libs.

#18 | Posted by JOE at 2024-07-02 01:06 PM

Bernie lost in a Landslide at the Dem Primary by 3 million votes; not a number that could be 'rigged'.

Which modern concept we have me of his Bros to thank for, as Trump took it and ran with it.

Bernie campaigned for, voted for, and encouraged his followers to support and vote for Clinton.

Prolly 90 percent of them did. The other 10 percent not so much.

Bernie lost in a Landslide at the Dem Primary by 3 million votes;

Who cares, those 3 million hard core democrats would have voted for Bernie in the general.

But the independent voters who would have voted for Bernie, didn't vote for Hillary.

Primary map shows Hillary lost to Trump in areas Bernie won in the primaries.

#21 | Posted by ClownShack at 2024-07-02 01:16 PM

- those 3 million hard core democrats would have voted for Bernie in the general.

Not even close. There were still a lot of Moderate and even Conservative Dems then.

Only about 10 percent of Bros ignored Bernie's Advice to vote for Clinton. That was enough.

There were still a lot of Moderate and even Conservative Dems then.

Who would have voted for a democrat over a republican.

It's not the democrats who decided not to vote for Hillary, it was the independents who wanted someone different.

Obama's "hope and change" flopped. Hillary was seen as too much of the same person. Bernie was exciting voters for a government who would actually represent them.

The DNC tanked him and all hope for winning 2016.

#24 | Posted by ClownShack at 2024-07-02 01:40 PM

- The DNC tanked him

Sorry, it turns out that that never happened.

"This article makes three central points.

First, it contends that the overwhelming weight of evidence makes clear the 2016 Democratic nomination process was not rigged in favor of Hillary Clinton.

Second, this article argues that the Democratic Party rules and state election laws actually hurt Clinton and benefited Sanders.

Third, the article concludes that the controversy over the Democratic nomination race reflects a broader, bipartisan decline in public confidence in the integrity of American elections."

I don't like Ralph Nader as a politician for the same reason I didn't like Trump in 2016.

He's inexperienced.

It's like buying a football team, appointing yourself head coach, and thinking you'll win the Super Bowl.

Which is what Deplorables love about Trump, more or less.

People want a White Knight to save them and save the world. It's not realistic.

#26 | Posted by snoofy at 2024-07-02 02:00 PM

The DNC tanked him

Sorry, it turns out that that never happened.

Of course it did.

Or have you forgotten how Hillary already had enough superdelegates to win the primaries before the first vote was ever cast.

Post all the articles you want, having other Hillary sycophants desperately trying to explain away her failure isn't going to help you when I lived through that unfortunate situation.

#27 | Posted by ClownShack at 2024-07-02 02:02 PM

People want a White Knight to save them and save the world.

Unfortunately they settled for a fat orange loser who wears diapers.

#28 | Posted by ClownShack at 2024-07-02 02:05 PM

#27

We all lived through it... and those articles you didn't read are all from lefty sources, and are all fact-based.

#29 | Posted by Corky at 2024-07-02 02:16 PM

Hillary was the "Presumptive Nominee" before even one primary was held.

The media Harped on it endlessly. The DNC gave her advance information about the questions at the debates.

The superdelegates were already enough for her to win without ANY Primaries.

Of course Bernie got sandbagged by a Corrupt DNC.

Lying about that is just stupid.

Trump is the direct result of the Dems ignoring the will of the Voters to give Hillary unfair and undemocratic advantages at the primary level.

Own it.

#30 | Posted by Effeteposer at 2024-07-02 02:25 PM

Hillary was the "Presumptive Nominee" before even one primary was held.

Yep. They even set up a mock debate with Hillary and four relatively unknown candidates.

If they knew how well Bernie would preform, I'm sure they would have never given him the opportunity.

#31 | Posted by ClownShack at 2024-07-02 02:33 PM

#30

Also didn't read the liberal media sources for the fact-based articles.

What they own is what they want to believe, not what happened as detailed in the articles and in history.

#32 | Posted by Corky at 2024-07-02 02:34 PM

- four relatively unknown candidates.

Who, as the articles noted, were left in the dust, benefitting both Clinton and Sanders.

#33 | Posted by Corky at 2024-07-02 02:36 PM

Right. But I'm sure the dnc was hoping Bernie would also be left in the dust.

Anyway. I find it pointless to debate the past. It's happened and nothing can be changed.

Nader shouldn't have brought it up.

Al Gore should have pushed for a recount in Florida.

Obama should have pushed for his Supreme Court nominee.

Hillary should have campaigned harder.

Biden should have resigned and the DNC should have nominated a new candidate.

Shoulda coulda woulda ... but here we are now.

#34 | Posted by ClownShack at 2024-07-02 02:49 PM

Dems took over the House? You should post that story!
#12 | Posted by Corky

Dems control the agencies, so the House loses relevance.

The House might, for example, vote to hold Holder in criminal contempt, but because the Dems, and Holder himself, own DOJ, it can't happen. If a RWer does the same thing, it's off to pol prison. Just one example. Many such cases.

#35 | Posted by look_inward at 2024-07-02 02:57 PM

Ralph Nader helped Bush get elected and Bush lowered the bar that Trump was able to oink his way over it.

#36 | Posted by Tor at 2024-07-02 03:07 PM

Of course Bernie got sandbagged by a Corrupt DNC.

Nothing like what the Lewzer campaign would have done to him.

Lot's of "Crazy Hair Bernie/Che Guevara" pics, and they never would have said his name without using Stalin's in the same sentence.
