'I'm Actually Afraid' 2-time MAGA Voter Turns on 'Unstable' Don

[O]ne former supporter left a recent Trump rally saying she won't vote for him this time around, in part because of what she heard. "After listening to that, I'm actually afraid of Trump being president again. I don't know what he was talking about half the time. Perhaps he was always like that but he seems worse, more unstable."

"I voted for him in 2016 and had a Trump flag in the front yard. I voted for him again in 2020 but didn't put the flag out that time," a voter named Jenny told The Guardian, adding "I've been thinking of voting for him again because Biden's been so bad for the economy and Kamala won't be any better. But after listening to that, I'm actually afraid of Trump being president again."
From her lips to many more MAGA voters' ears. Maybe the spell is finally wearing off for some of Trump's base, and it won't take much to tip the balance, particularly if enough voters like Jenny live in swing states.

Trump and his remaining supporters are far to cruel and unchristian to vote for.

They're far too cruel and christian to vote for. The christianity is a big part of the problem, they're christian nationalists.

This documentary just came out. Well worth your time if you are wondering how we got here.

BAD FAITHreveals how Christian Nationalist leaders have spread fear and anger for decades, distorting political issues into Biblical battles between good and evil. Financed through the secretive Council for National Policy, Christian Nationalists have succeeded in taking over the Republican Party, turning it into a powerful weapon to demolish democracy from within. Discover the origins of this organized grasp for power and the grassroots coalition of secular and interfaith leaders bravely confronting the unholy forces threatening democracy.

Now if they could just learn the first part is wrong, Biden has been better for the economy than Trump, then there would be no reason anyone would vote for Trump.

The documentary points out that the movement isn't christian.

The bankruptcy-prone orange pedo's economy was so dead he gave it his trademark thumbs up sign.

Trump is deranged, dishonest, and deluded. He should never be near the levers of American power again.

Glad she sees it and is honest enough to express what many like her think.

@RonFilipkowski
I wonder how much different this election would look if local media in swing states would actually report some of the most vile and insane things Trump posts daily on Truth Social and says at his rallies?

Trump unleashed a new round of threats on Truth Social today, reposting Kamala Harris in an orange jumpsuit, a list of 27 people including Obama who should be prosecuted for treason, and a call to prosecute members of the J6 Committee.

Is anybody else seeing dramatically less Trump signs in rural areas in your state? I wonder if it's because his campaign isn't providing them since his campaign is closing a lot of field office or if it's a sign of eroding support.

It's better to eventually see the light than to never see the light at all.

#14-

Purely anecdotal, but I live in rural Wisconsin, and it seems like there are a smidgeon fewer Trump signs and a smidgeon more Harris/Democrat signs, particularly in prominent places. It could be my wishful thinking, though, and of course it's worth noting that signs don't vote.

Yeah, I hate my retirement savings doubling.

And the 5 - 10% raises the last few years has been horrible.

Meanwhile gas is cheaper than 2008 by almost $2 per gallon.

Just awful.

Like so many other Trumpers, that fool is attempting to compare the Covid economic crisis period with today. Completely disingenuous, since the world was in chaos and prices for everything were distorted.

And as you point out, gas prices were far higher in 2008, when another Republican was president. I know, because Hurricane Ike knocked out my power for 8 or 9 days, and I had to buy 5 gallons of gas twice a day to power my portable generator running my furnace, fridge, sump pump and lights. The water heater was a no-go, by the way. Gas was $4.40+ per gallon in Louisville.
