JUST IN: Ohio governor says all 33 bomb threats against Springfield, Ohio have been hoaxes that are coming from overseas. Just another media-fueled hoax. Governor Mike DeWine said the threats are coming from "one particular country."

Could it be Russia? /s

And who's spreading the hate? MAGAts. That's who. Doing exactly what our enemies want them to do. Way to go, idiots!

"Donald Trump will end democracy." Over and over. And within two months 2 assassination attempts.

Honest question: Based on what's been publicized about the 2 shooters, do you actually think the Democrats, Liz and Dick Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, Judge Michael Luttig, Cassidy Hutchinson, Stephanie Grisham, along with the hundreds of former GOP government and security officials any or all influenced them to do what they did?

Every person has called Trump a threat to democracy, every, single, one.

And none of them followed with any allusions to violence of any kind. All simply implored voters to vote, period.

Neither man was driven by words of politicians, they were both driven by the voices inside their own heads.

I've always said that with shootings or attempted shootings. I think you are missing my point. Vance repeated what he heard from his constituents. It was brought up by citizens in a town hall well before this became a national story and a couple of 911 calls alleging geese were being captured. Yet, Vance repeating what his constituents are tell8ng him and making it very clear about that is somehow incitement, yet nothing Dems or their media pals say, which is usually far more heat3d, is EVER regarded as incitement in any way.

Can't have it both ways.

A bomb threat by definition is NOT a hoax. A bomb threat's goal is to terrorize, which these 33 have done.

And Republicans are proud of it.

You don't know for sure if it was a Republican or Republican supporter who called them in. Like many of the church burnings, it could be a hate crime hoax to make it look like a different group of people did it.

That said, screw Vance and anyone else who decides to emulate SJWs in repeating idiotic made-up stories to "draw attention" to issue.

Jeff's bulls**t is tired.

Fat Jim Jones has spread hate for over 6 decades. I am old enough to remember the full page ad in NY Times calling for the execution of the Central Park Five and how he said they should still be executed AFTER DNA evidence cleared them and the real criminal confessed.

From the moment Fat Jim Jones descended the escalator at his tower he was spewing hate at immigrants because they did not come from his preferred eastern Europe countries.

So now sh*tler spews hatred at legal Haitian immigrants based on a lie Jethro Dull created so his proud boofs and white supremacists invade Springfield and terrorize the entire town.

The more sh*tler melts down the worse he gets. He has the temperment of a toddler past his nap time and is an embarrassment to the entire nation.

Republican Rep. Bob Inglis of South Carolina - perhaps best known for taking a leading role in Bill Clinton's impeachment: "Donald Trump is a clear and present danger to the republic."

Retired federal appeals court Judge J. Michael Luttig, a prominent conservative legal scholar put on the bench by President George H.W. Bush, is endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris over former President Donald Trump, whose candidacy he describes as an existential threat to American democracy.

Former Vice President Dick Cheney: "In our nation's 248-year history, there has never been an individual who is a greater threat to our republic than Donald Trump. He tried to steal the last election using lies and violence to keep himself in power after the voters had rejected him. He can never be trusted with power again."

A dozen former White House lawyers who served Republican presidents from Ronald Reagan to George W Bush backed Harris in a letter warning that returning Trump to office "would threaten American democracy and undermine the rule of law in our country".

It's about an agenda to limit/eliminate the depart of education.

Do you refer to any policy you disagree with as "ending democracy"?

You have to get elected
Then you have to work with others who....have to get elected.

Sounds like actual democracy.....not ending it.

That's done by signing an executive order.

That's ending democracy?

en.wikipedia.org

As of May 9, 2023, President Biden has signed 118 executive orders.

Donald Trump signed a total of 220 executive orders from January 2017 to January 2021. As of July 2024, 71 of them (32%) have been revoked, many by his successor, Joe Biden. What does that say about the other 149 EOs signed by Trump?

I'm sure you don't mean to say that executive orders constitutes "ending democracy".

Perhaps that's a little dramatic?

"I don't think [Obama] even tries anymore. I think he just signs executive actions."
Nobody wants to listen to [Obama], including the Democrats, so he just goes around signing executive orders."

" Eberly completely ignores the abortion parts and making women second class citizens." - Alexandrite.

A little history lesson for you: Democrats and their media pals with a 50/50 ties in the Senate were seeking to use the VP tie breaking vote to abolish the filibuster so Dems can go on a major power grab spree. Manchin and Sinema were the only ones who were publicly opposed. It was just enough to preserve the filibuster. Fast- forward to 2025 and imagine Trump winning, the GOP keeping the House and taking the Senate. Had Dems nuked the filibuster the GOP in this scenario could institute a national abortion ban and the only thing that could stop it would be from inner party dissent.

Pretty scary, right? I don't know if you personally supported Dems abolishing the filibuster for short term political gain but plenty of others on this site were for it as were lefties in the media, Dems, etc.

Trump's funny out that when it comes to their states Republican governors can be territorial as a pitbull with a stake between his teeth. They don't like trash talk about their cities their counties sometimes they don't even like trash talk about neighboring states and should you actually encourage violence in their state or show them disrespect they may openly hate you without giving a single f*** with the consequences are.
