They talked that way about blacks being equal to whites, once upon a time. Like in the 1840s. Even as it came to be that most people wanted to end slavery, most of those same people did not want black equality. Many today still don't want black equality, and socioeconomically, blacks aren't equal.

Actually it does not. You have "mis-interpreted" it to say that.

Please show the class your work.

Which passage in the Bible says that her lifestyle (I am assuming transsexual) is wrong and he/she going to hell if he/she doesn't repent.

Also if she does "repent" does that make everything all right?

Or does "she" have to be a "he" again to get in.

One final question (I promise!):

You think you know what GODS IMAGE means but it can't possible mean your GOD looks like Man because we come in so many varieties which man does your god look like? Is HE fat ugly hairy handsome thin black white red bald old young? I mean think about it. Which race is your GOD and why?

A GOD that can create an entire universe cannot possibly be a man like creature/ being. It's possible to take a human form when HE/SHE/IT needs to but its just not realistic to think that your GOD exists as a man or a woman. But Christianity does not require their religion to make sense. I know.

I always like posting a link to this book, written (in the parlance of our times) by a cisgender hetero white male -- and biblical scholar.

I'm not saying these reflect my opinions, but just know that there are many ways to look at the Bible. Ancient languages help. Translation is interpretation. Jesus didn't speak the KJV into being.

Boaz's impressions of the Bible seem Southern Baptist (or frankly that of many Black churches), but filtered through the luminous theology scholars at the Daily Mail.

Both sections 1 an 2 are excellent. He was a Oxford scholar of Ancient History before coming the go-to Oxford biblical scholar for many people, and is fluent in many dead and live languages. He contrasts the Eastern church with our wayward Western church.
