Criminals should be handcuffed - that is normal so I have not sympathy. For Roger Stone, they sent an armed SWAT team and invited CNN to try to embarrass him. I am outraged at the waste in money when they could have just ordered him to turn himself over to the court. But, as you stated, the cruelty was the point.
