The Woke thing reminds me of in the 80s when Howard Stern had Chuck D and Flavor Flav from Public Enemy on his show.

Howard asked, what's up with "Dope" and Flavor Flav explained what it meant, and Howard said it means something different to whites. Then Howard asked about "Stupid" and Flav explained how that's even better than dope.

And Howard said "You two are the stupidest dopes I know" and Flavor Flav said "Thank you, Howard."

It was a simpler time, when people tried to understand each other, instead of already knowing everything.

I think most folks support some aspect of enlightenment and progressive improvements, even if they won't outright admit it.
