New York City's suburbs have experienced an uptick in housing demand from wealthy residents in recent months, according to local real estate agents, as high earners scared off by Zohran Mamdani's mayoral primary victory look for plan B within a reasonable distance.
Before this year, Mamdani was hardly a household name. Now, the 33-year-old Democratic Socialist state assemblyman is the man most likely to become New York City's next mayor.
They're looking for a place to shelter their wealth -
Interesting. So the Ayatollah Mamdani is proposing a wealth Tax?
No. That's not what he's proposing.
Rather, "he has proposed creating an additional tax bracket for New York City residents with income over $1 million, which would be taxed at 5.9%.". The current max is 3.876%. www.cityandstateny.com

Would YOU call Mamdani a communist?

Is China Communist? Is it democratic socialist? A distinction only in time.
Is Mamdani a democratic socialist? Why yes, yes he is, by his own words.
"No. I'm a democratic socialist," Mamdani said. "I've said that time and again."

New York City mayoral candidates to face off in final debate before Election Day
abc7ny.com
... The three candidates running for mayor of New York City will participate in their second and final debate on Wednesday evening before Election Day.
The showdown could be the last and best chance for the candidates to convince voters before they cast their ballots.
While we can expect a spar of words between the candidates, Andrew Cuomo will try and challenge Zohran Mamdani publicly while Curtis Sliwa will try and drum up further support and appeal to New Yorkers.
Some of the candidates' suggestions for the city were revealed Tuesday, including Cuomo who made a pitch for city oversight of the New York City Transit capital budget and Mamdani who laid out his own framework for saving the Department of Education money by streamlining the way contracts are given out.
In the backdrop of Wednesday's debate are the growing calls for Sliwa to drop his mayoral bid. ...
Cuomo has tried to appeal to his conservative base, saying he'd give Sliwa a job in his administration if elected.
Meanwhile, a new poll from AARP and Gotham Polling shows Mamdani continues to hold a strong lead over Cuomo at 43.2%. Cuomo trails at 28.9%, and Sliwa at 19.4%. ...
finally cut the costs of the insurance middlemen who drain money from the system and give nothing in return?

Finally? The whole point of ObamaCare was to increase the middle mans profits, it was literally written by insurance lobbyists.

The ACA effectively ended when the mandate was removed.
This is an excuse, since 2013 the number of people without health insurance has been halved to around 7%.
California effectively has the mandate and it has had no effect on premiums. There's no way adding more regulations written by the insurance industry was going bring down the cost of healthcare.
ACA had little to no effect on premiums rise, but added alot of regulations. It killed the PoH (Dr owned hospitals). Why?

If America wants better healthcare Abundance is the way, add more Dr's (AMA restricted) and hospitals (remove PoH restrictions from ACA).
