The FBI is claiming that they found this guy with the information they already had in possession. Meaning, they didn't get some new tidbit of info that enabled them to crack the case.

So, it took the FBI 10 months to accomplish what the previous leadership was unable to accomplish in 4 years. Wray's FBI moved heaven and earth to track down grannies who were waved into the capitol by Capitol police, wandered around for 20 minutes and then left. They threw the book at these people (I'm talking about the ones who weren't violent). Yet they can't track this guy down who was and is far more dangerous than a 65 year old granny with no priors for what was essentially trespassing.
