I demand the return of 99 cent Whoppers. And super sized fries, cooked in beef fat.

Make fast food great again!

This is NOT inflation.

This is corporate greed.

CENSORED

I don't doubt for a minute that President Biden is doing everything in his power to help reduce inflation (especially in an election year).

But what I want to know is: When is Dollar Tree going to go back down to a dollar?

Terrible news. My condolences to all the right-wingers who were hoping that food prices would be much higher.

Not in this neck of the woods. At least not yet. Here's hoping though.

They always tell you inflation is going down whenever the prices are going up.

A country enslaved by riba.

"You tell people that inflation is coming down and they think, 'I don't understand that. The price of all the things that I buy hasn't come down.' And they're not wrong," Powell said at a conference in Amsterdam

The whole article is built on a lie.

IF prices come down even a little at this point, it's because the average consumer is tapped out.

The problem is, the average consumer doesn't understand the voodoo numbers game. Inflation easing simply means prices aren't rising as fast but Joe mechanic still sees high prices.

"If inflation continues to moderate, the Federal Reserve may be able to start cutting interest rates later this year " a prospect that cheered investors and triggered a stock market rally"

--------. Same old story to keep investors hanging on since Jan 1 this year and no rate cuts.

You need to get your BS detector fixed, the whole point of the "statement" was to help Biden get elected.

Or at least change the name to

"A Dollar and a Quarter Tree"

Pfft. Ever heard of Family Dollar? Most things have always been over a buck there. Although I did get some nice T-shirts there for $5 each, about ten years ago. One of them said "Silence is golden, duct tape is silver". Wish I had bought more at the time.

Grocery prices have not declined where I live. In fact, some item like eggs, meats, oils, etc. continue to rise.
