Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Saturday, June 08, 2024

For years, Joe Biden shared a bookkeeper with his son, Hunter. He also shared a personal lawyer with his brother, Jim. And when Jim Biden wanted to know more about one of Hunter Biden's associates, he hired the former head of Joe Biden's Secret Service detail to investigate. Since 2019, Joe Biden has repeatedly distanced himself from his family's business dealings, saying that he has never so much as discussed them with his relatives or with anyone else. But House impeachment inquiry interviews, public records and emails reviewed by POLITICO show that members of his inner circle were regularly enmeshed in those dealings: Many of the president's closest staffers and advisers have doubled as his relatives' business associates, both during and after their stints working for the man at the center of the Biden family orbit.

The GOP investigated Joe Biden for years and the best they can come up with is that Biden recommended his accountant to his son.

I bank at the same place as my mom and she got me a job at the place she was manager once. My best friend worked for my step-day for a while. My brother and I have same invest advisor. Lock us up I guess.

#1. This isn't a Republican investigation.

It's a reporting by Politico.

And ... Once again, it's a situation of Republicans wanting you to be really really really upset, over something they'd be proud of if there was an (R) after the name.

And let's not forget Republican Math:

Biden's millions: bad

Jarvanka's billions: good

Golly gee whiz... this is almost like Trump's son in law working it the WH and then getting billions from the Saudis and setting up bidness in other countries he worked in officially.

I 'member how upset HeffyB still is about that!

I didn't see the word "illegal" anywhere.

Just the pot trying to call the kettle black.

Will these people never stop making fools out of themselves?

Oh hum. Another JeffJ thread that is bullocks. I think I would keel over dead if he posted a relevant thread that meant something.

Are you illiterate? It says in the article where they got the info from and the house query is the first source they list.

And I have to wonder why you are so quick to distance it from the house investigation. Is it because you know they are full of ----?

So this would be the grounds for impeachment you and the Republicans have been searching for?

JFC Comer was amazingly ineffective, eh?

You all love straw man arguments, don't you.

Notice all of the things I didn't say:

This is grounds for impeachment.
This is criminal.
This proves__________

At this point I don't care about past Biden family business dealings. As far as this upcoming election goes I know what a second Biden term would bring. This stuff is just noise as far as the election goes, for me.

You thought family members recommending business service providers to each other was news worthy?
If any one is looking for home/auto/life insurance in the St. Louis area then I recommend contacting Jeff Parsons.
Was that news worthy?

More record employment levels, stock market highs and less crime?
Would you rather return to dow 18K, 14% unemployment, much higher crime rates, and 100K Americans dying a month due to a pandemic?.

Someone that's not a convicted felon in the White House. That's what it will bring. I'm no fan of Biden. He's too conservative for me. That being said. Being without a criminal conviction is better than the other guy.

And what would that be?

Don't sell Republicans short; they also found out that Hunter Biden (who is not the President and doesn't have some weird grift job at the White House) struggles with drug addiction. Impeachment now!

As far as this upcoming election goes I know what a second Biden term would bring.

Someone not sleeping in until 11 am and watching TV all day.

Not --------- Putin on the world stage.

Not spending every day golfing.

Not conspiring to subvert the Constitution.

No rage tweeting at 2 in the morning.

Not stealing classified documents.

Not covering up a son in law involvement in the murder of a US journalist.

Not saluting North Korean generals.

Not selling US access for ZTE for $500,000,000 loan from China.
