Former Donald Trump lawyer Jenna Ellis is denouncing the ex-president for failing to give his co-defendants "one dime" after his criminal conviction in New York reportedly resulted in a fundraising windfall. Ellis, who served on Trump's legal team during his ill-fated 2020 presidential campaign, lashed out at the former president in a series of posts to X, formerly Twitter, on Thursday. She was responding to an article from right-wing news outlet The Post Millennial on Trump boasting that his campaign had raised $400 million since he became a felon last week.

Is this surprising to Ellis? Trump has been known to be a scumbag who stiffs those he owes for decades.
Trump should argue that any judgements against him should be tossed on the grounds that he had incompetent representation. The fact that they keep being surprised to suddenly discover Trump won't pay is pretty solid evidence they are the dumbest attorneys ever.

I'm surprised that she's surprised.

Trump's reputation preceded him. He's a user and abuser from way back.

Did this lady never hear of due diligence?

She's a dim bulb who may actually have believed the off-brand Shineola she was selling. My confidence in the long distance dimness diagnosis is based on her actually believing Trump would cut loose of "one dime" for her or anyone else whose usefulness to him is done. But, hey, Jenna, magical thinking. It got you to where you are today.

Donald Trump is a tightwad and, more importantly, he enjoys seeing people suffer. ALL people. He has no friends he has useful appliances. Support him and be a toaster

How is anyone still convinced they won't get left behind once they're not useful anymore?

Every idiot convinces themself they'll be different when they're the one in the spotlight.

And then, after they've done questionable things to maintain their status, they get discarded like everyone else before them. It's pathetic.

"Jenna Ellis, a former lawyer for Donald Trump's 2020 campaign, pleaded guilty Tuesday to illegally conspiring to overturn Trump's 2020 election loss in Georgia, making her the third attorney associated with the former president to accept a plea deal in the sweeping criminal racketeering case."

Learn the hard way, lady. Trump is a professional criminal. You shoulda known better.

As I have noted elsewhere... ( drudge.com )

... K, let me ask a question here ...

Why do many, oh so many, associates and former officials of the administration of fmr Pres Trump seem to want to criticize fmr Pres Trump or volunteer to testify under oath against him before Congress or in a Court of Law?

Under oath. Voluntarily.

It is a simple question.

Why? ...

Maybe she needs to look towards Mr Crow, and hope for some luxurious travel. Perhaps that will assuage here current grief.

She's only been punished by losing her license to practice law, and only in the state of Colorado. Pleading guilty to a federal crime will probably mean the loss of a career she hoped for herself but it's not fatal.

Once she's done her time, there's always ambulance chasing.

Attorney and prominent conservative media figure Jenna Ellis pleaded guilty Tuesday to a felony charge over efforts to overturn Donald Trump's 2020 election loss in Georgia, tearfully telling the judge she looks back on that time with "deep remorse."

" She knows Georgia was stolen. "

Exactly when were you planning on proffering proof?

Because it's been over 3 1/2 years, and still none. At least nothing submitted in a court of law.

Explain that: how come all the people who are screaming "fraud" from the lectern, are never uttering that same word inside a courtroom?

My theory is, it's because making that claim without proof inside the courtroom can get a lawyer sanctioned, fined, disbarred, or jailed.

What's your theory?

Did Mike say next Tuesday....he meant the Tuesday after that.

And not one of these convicted lawyers knows how to place a lien on a house or other property? None of them ever represented a shady character, one who screamed 'make me pay to start'? None of them ever practiced with a bankruptcy attorney, nearly all of whom get paid before filing? None of these folks ever held in abeyance their thoughts as to their client's guilt, innocence or veracity?

Trump may be doing the legal profession and the American public a favor, in rooting out the worst actors in the law. Of course, an incompetent attorney is not worth paying, but also not worth employing...

You stupid brainwashed ------- still don't understand how 2020 was stolen? Really? Drop box fraud across multiple states under the cover of COVID. Biden literally needed over 95% of the outstanding Georgia vote on election night in a state that had a close margin and he magically got that out of the drop boxes? Wow! Amazing! Or ------- fraud. Yeah anyone with a brain knows it was ------- fraud. Biden the fraudulently installed dementia patient. Lost every bellwether county in the country but magically gets just enough votes in several states out of the fraud boxes in the major metropolitan areas. you stupid ----- are so brainwashed it's literally unbelievable. Ellis was literally on her twitter stream on the day of the indictment talking about all the fraud evidence that the courts conveniently ignored. She knows it was stolen. You know the evidence too, ignoring it doesn't make it go away. Posting the same evidence over and over again isn't going to drill it into your brainwashed ------- heads. You just keep ignoring it.

" Drop box fraud across multiple states under the cover of COVID."

If that actually happened, even with a 99.9% success rate, you'd either find non-voters who voted, or voters who voted twice. Certainly four years of digging would've found SOME, at least.

Since NONE of those happened, your theory FAILS.

#30 | Posted by Danforth at 2024-06-10 10:29 PM | Reply

Apparently her license to practice law in Colorado was only suspended for three years as a condition for her guilty plea. It was a disciplinary action for unbecoming behavior during the commission of a crime to which she allocated her remorse ~~ "if I knew then what I know now., blah, blah." ~~ So she wasn't disbarred ~ although the State of Colorado is still considering that option.

If she dodges that bullet, she's free to go back to representing clients in three years. If she can find any. But I wouldn't count on it if I was her.

Everything Trump touched dies.

Democrats who believe in COVID overwhelmingly votes by mail.

Republicans who think COVID is a hoax overwhelmingly votes in person.
