Lou Dobbs, Cable News Pioneer Dies

Lou Dobbs, a veteran broadcast journalist who helped launch CNN and later become an outspoken conservative, died Thursday. He was 78.

I had watched and liked Mr Dobbs when he was on CNN. He used to provide quite substantiated alternate views.

Then something happened. I don't know what.

But Mr Dobbs seems to, of late, have gone full MAGA, effectively eschewing his journalism roots, preferring instead the alternate reality of MAGA.

Democrats and their news media have always hated the concept of making America better and stronger as a nation. The only thing they ever wanted was more power for the Democrat party elites and Joe Biden. They could care less about helping average Americans that have less. God bless Lou Dobbs for being honest and able.

His economic policies, particularly tax policies, benefit himself and his corporations. And the same for other billionaires.

As Lamplighter says, Dobbs was once respected. Something happened to him in recent years and he lost his mind and fell in thrall to the stupidest, most corrupt politician in American history.

Doc, I was unable to find the clip, but it was within the past year two that Dobbs said something like "You see that sunrise? President Trump is responsible for that." He called Trump the greatest president in American history, and anyone who disagreed was a moron or traitor. What a lunatic.

Lou Dobbs was an original "birther" who once claimed immigrants had brought 7,000 cases of leprosy to America.

He was fired from Fox News for his constant lies about the election, lies that cost Fox News nearly a billion dollars.

Lou Dobbs legacy is lies hate and ugliness.

With his absence America is a slightly better place today.

Lou Dobbs opposed UNVETTED ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION.

Only illegal Democrats have a policy that want ever increasing amounts of unvetted illegal immigration.

Outrageously they hate average Americans and love crime. They want illegals here only to have foreign voting puppets that will live off of your taxes and rape and kill your family as they've already done. Republicans will be remembered for having rejected a once-in-a-lifetime immigration opportunity in 2024.

instead of seizing this likely once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, House Republicans and former President Trump argued that the bill was not the hardliner wish list they preferred and successfully convinced most Senate Republicans to block the bill.

The Senate Bill was an immigration bill that allowed up to 5k unvetted per day. All kinds of open ended discretion allowed for the Biden administration. Nothing was mandatory to shut down border.It should have been ZERO allowed if it was border security. Democrats wanted open unprotected borders no matter how they spin it.

Americans in favor of immigration that requires skills and sponsors and financial security as do other countries like Canada and Australia. We are country with too many uneducated unskilled non English speaking already here that denigrate our declining public schools.
