With the RFK Jr. endorsement a song about eating worms is very appropriate for the Trump campaign.

How many songs do this make now, that the Trump campaign has broken the law by using it without permission?

Sometimes you eat the worm, sometimes the worm eats you.

Of course they're going to disallow the use of their music.

@#10 ... Of course they're going to disallow the use of their music. ...

The legal issue here is not whether or not an intellectual property owner (i.e., the owner of the music) will disallow the use of their music after the fact.

The issue here is the law.

That is, whether or not the Trump campaign made the proper legal agreements to use the music before the music was used.

So, fmr Pres Trump can stand with police officers all he wants for photos.

But his campaign's actions seem to point to a disregard of the law.

Are you ------- kidding? That's what you got from a Foo Fighter's video based on Michael Douglas in Falling Down?

Good god.

Am I supposed to feel bad that I enjoyed that part of the music video and view it as comedic?

Even the movie had clearly funny parts.

This is false, the Trump campaign purchased the rights through BMI SongView.

Anyone can do it.

Grohl is a hypocrit on top of it, he was claiming music should be available for anyone that wants to hear it

Yeah, that seems to be in dispute.

Trump campaign insists it had right to use Foo Fighters song, despite band's angry reaction
www.yahoo.com

... Donald Trump's campaign says it had a license to play Foo Fighters hit track "My Hero" at a rally in which the former president received the endorsement of political rival-turned-backer Robert F Kennedy Jr, despite the band saying they did not grant permission.

The Independent has seen documents appearing to confirm that the campaign had indeed licensed the song from BMI's Songview service. "We have a license to play the song," a campaign spokesperson said.

Kennedy, who suspended his campaign as an independent presidential candidate on Friday, joined Trump onstage in Arizona, as pyrotechnics blasted and the Foos song played.

In a statement shared with The Independent, a spokesperson for Foo Fighters said: "Foo Fighters were not asked permission, and if they were, they would not have granted it.

The spokesperson added that "appropriate actions are being taken" against the Trump campaign and any royalties received as a result of this usage will be donated to the Harris/Walz campaign. ...

Trump's a thief. Plain and simple. Steals everything, doesn't pay his bills, stiffs working people.

@#19

All this leads me to the conclusion that the Trump campaign is unable to mount any manner of an, for lack of a better word, assault upon the campaign of VP Harris.

Stated differently, the Trump campaign seems to be thrashing around, trying to find an attack surface to use against the Harris campaign.

Stated even more differently...

The Trump campaign was gobsmacked by the brilliant move by Pres Biden to delay his withdrawal from the race until after the RNC.

Now the Trump campaign seems to be clueless in how to respond.

And it shows.

Big time.

For starters, Fox News cut off his call-in conversation.

I mean, when Fox News cuts you off for rambling....

" he was claiming music should be available for anyone that wants to hear it"

"Hearing it" does not mean appropriating it for commercial purposes. Not the same thing at all.

But you knew that.

Are you trying to gaslight?

@#19 ...Putin's Bitch Suddenly Looks Very Afraid of Being Sued by Taylor Swift ...

Oh, this ain't good.

From the article in #19 ...

... Donald Trump is trying to brush off the fact that he shared A.I.-generated images of Taylor Swift endorsing his campaign to his Truth Social account earlier this week, now claiming that he doesn't know "anything about them." ...

Just like he has said he knows nothing about Project 2025?

OK, that begs the question...

Just what will fmr Pres Trump take responsibility for?

Admitting a mistake is the first step to correcting an incorrect action.

So...

Just what will fmr Pres Trump take responsibility for?
