Kamala Harris may be the first Democratic presidential nominee to win seniors since Al Gore

"Take a look at the recent national polls. The CNN/SSRS poll out this week found Harris leading the former president 50% to 46% among senior citizens.

Our survey is not an outlier. The average poll has Harris up by 3 points over Trump among seniors.

This is a marked turnaround from before Biden dropped out of the race in July and from the final estimates from 2020.

Both the polling average from earlier this year and the post-election findings from 2020 had Trump up by 4 points over Biden among voters who were 65 or over."

There's more seniors than young people, and they vote more.

Seniors voting Republican are either rich or stupid. They want to destroy Social Security and Medicare. Maybe you don't depend on those programs but I do. Eliminate them you better have room in your house for your parents. Or maybe you;ll be OK with Mom and Dad being homeless.

29% of the electorate is over 65. They're largest demographic voting block. And they're the most dependable voters.

winning the youngest gens by a large margin...
winning blacks by a large margin...
winning Latinos, but by smaller margins than in the past...

The only group she isn't winning are racist white males...
which unfortunately seem to comprise 55-60% of American White Males...

My solidly moderate mother, an old-fashioned woman in her 80s, previously had said she didn't know if she could handle having a woman as president. But she told me over the summer that she had changed her mind about the idea of a woman president and was excited to have the opportunity to vote for Kamala Harris. It kind of surprised me to be honest.

Unfortunately, she died a few weeks ago. :(
