Great NYT article by Maureen Dowd on why we lost, and why the Dems have lost their traditional supporters. She sums it up pretty well.

"Democratic candidates have often been avatars of elitism " Michael Dukakis, Al Gore, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton and second-term Barack Obama. The party embraced a worldview of hyper-political correctness, condescension and cancellation, and it supported diversity statements for job applicants and faculty lounge terminology like "Latinx," and "BIPOC" (Black, Indigenous, People of Color)."
Pelosi is conspicuously absent. Covering-up Biden's cognitive decline cemented them into his policies - some of which were successful, but ultimately seen as donor pandering. Rejecting Progressive policy in lieu of donor money is the DNC m.o.
The "best economy and jobs growth" is a lie - it's never achievable with parasite capitalism maintaining a growing impoverished class.
Duopoly needs to end.
Trump will cause enough misery to keep people pointing at each other, Democrats are just enablers, imo.
Nothing will change without fundamental effort and less obstruction.
Personally, I don't see this government as necessary. SCOTUS rules, not any elected "President".
O'Dowd is Bill Maher with a uterus.
