Director of National Security Tulsi Gabbard wants to turn President Donald Trump's daily intel briefings into Fox News-type broadcasts because he "doesn't read." Gabbard is hoping to add animations and more dynamic multimedia elements to Trump's President's Daily Briefs, or PDBs, to fit his viewing habits and hold his attention, five people with knowledge of the discussions told NBC News. Gabbard ralso eportedly consulted with current and former intelligence officials on bringing in a Fox News producer and host to reshape the PDBs"which are usually text and image-based for national security reasons"to deliver the intel in broadcast form. NBC News reported that the process could involve granting the Fox News team security clearance to access classified information.

It figures MAGA would put an illiterate rapist in the White House.

On 5 Nov 2024, Republicans elected a first rate President who selected a top notch Cabinet, all of whom have no issues with moral turpitude, substance abuse, blithering incompetence, or intellectual dishonesty. MAGAts ought to be proud of themselves.

Americans should sleep well at night knowing who is in charge in the White House.

... hold his attention, ...

So, it looks like he really doesn't care about the security of the US.

His actions seem to show that.

That shouldn't be to hard for her. She's a real dumb-dumb herself.

Yeah, my first impression of this was along the lines of "the blind leading the blind."

But, to be honest, I did not want to post that.

imo, I thought it was too damning of Pres Trump.

So, I did not post that comment.

[sigh]

Remember when w said he was the candidate for the "c" students? Not sure who Trump is the candidate for, traditionally, the Republican Party candidate for President hopes to win by combining the hate of American racial animus combined with the greed of the rich and the...powerful.

How can anyone think that giving Jesse Watters a security clearance is a good idea? The same folks who think hiring all those Faux News talking heads was a good idea ...

Since tRump's TV habits mirror a majority of septuagenarians, I suppose Faux "News" talking heads are the only people he's heard of.

She thinks he is as foolish as a mummer's monkey yet she supported him as a candidate.

If you are wondering how she can sleep at night: Upside down hanging from her claws, wrapped in a blanket made of 101 dalmatians.

Not surprising. Anyone who has ever heard him read from a teleprompter knows he is semi-literate at best.

Trump has been played by KGB agents since he dated Ivana, the daughter of a Soviet Bloc secret police agent. For 50 years, Trump's been echoing Moscow's BS about the West, and that's why Trump prefers to get his intel briefings from the "expert" himself: Putin.

With Trump's short attention span, and his internal bias to trust Putin instead of dissonance-inducing DIA & CIA analysts, I think Tulsi's got a great idea. We hope it's legit US & allies intel vetted reports, rather than Moscow-sourced propaganda.

If showing Trump cartoons as an accurate attention getting briefing medium works, then dammit, turn those briefings into comic books! Somebody's gotta teach our POTUS to that Putin's a very bad guy.

Remember this motto that USMC officers are taught, "Keep it simple stupid".

If any president ever needed his briefings to be kept "simple stupid" it's Trump.
