This is good.

Over the next four years, $28 trillion of the $36 trillion National Debt matures.
Financing current deficits will add another $10 trillion.
Its unlikely the U.S. can sell $38 trillion of Treasuries with a 4%.
So either US pays 6% or more, or the Fed has to buy alot , if not all of it.

US is looking at hard times, the US will soon look like the Ivory Coast.

USAID represented the United States' "soft power" in the world.

Now that the United States has cut back, drastically, in the use of that soft power, our adversaries, e.g., China, Russia, are moving in to take our place.

That means we no longer have the platform to help those suffering in the world and to show American Excellence to developing countries.

The cost of USAID was minimal compared to the soft benefits we received.

But since those benefits were "soft," i.e., not monetary, Pres Trump is unable to see them.

One reason Aghanistan fell was because of the US promotion of its culture on to a socially conservative society.
