Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

Donald Trump won back the Oval Office and took charge of the government amid the strongest poll numbers of his political career, but as the 100-day mark of his presidency approaches, Americans' views of what he's done so far have turned deeply negative, a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS finds. Trump's 41% approval rating is the lowest for any newly elected president at 100 days dating back at least to Dwight Eisenhower " including Trump's own first term. Approval of Trump's handling of the presidency is down 4 points since March, and 7 points lower than it was in late February. Just 22% say they strongly approve of Trump's handling of the job, a new low, and about twice as many say they strongly disapprove (45%).

What a disgusting blob of hate he has become.

Gratz republicans on all the winning!

Too bad it is America doing all the losing.

Around the 100-day milestone, there tends to be a lot of polling performed.

Worst polling at 100 days in 80 years.

Wait! What? Donald Trump is unpopular? What could he have done to deserve this?

Intentionally wrecking the Economy for personal gains should be an Impeachable Offence, even for Republicans.

Perhaps it will be when they are dragged down in the Polls along with him.

Sure is looking like a Blue Tsunami out there for the Mid-Terms....

Trump unpopular. My head is still spinning.

What's interesting is, our resident Trumpers are in the 22%.

Unfortunately for America. Trump only needs 30% of America to vote for him in order to win an election.

The electoral college is still securely rigged.

SEVERAL polls reflect his sinking popularity, mentioning his are the lowest approval numbers since they started keeping track 80 years ago.

The president who last broke the record for the lowest approval rating in his first 100 days?

Why, Donald Trump. In 2017.

And we haven't begun to feel what's coming thanks to empty cargo containers arriving and higher prices on just about everything.

Biggest reasons people don't vote?

"Nearly 90 million Americans didn't vote " which is more than the number of people who voted for Trump or Harris

Scores of people said they had not turned out as they felt their vote would not matter because of the electoral college system, since they lived in a safely blue or red state."

"Some people from swing states said they did not vote because both parties were too similar and did not address concerns of the common voter, among them John, a 29-year-old financial professional from Pennsylvania who is a registered independent, but voted for Clinton and Biden in the previous two elections.

"What is the point [of voting]?," he asked. "Aside from a handful of weaponized issues, the parties are nearly identical. They both hate the poor and serve only their donors."

So... because the System is rigged. The final Seal on that was Citizens United that codified money as speech and Corporations as having Personhood: Super Voters (Donors/Owners).
