California is expanding its domestic and international tourism campaigns in anticipation of a 2025 downturn. State officials are urging residents to travel locally to help offset expected losses from fewer international visitors.

Trump's antagonization of key allies has roiled the American tourism industry. Industry officials tell us the dramatic decline in international arrivals threatens businesses that rely on tourism -- and could cost billions.

International tourists no longer want to go see the roaming bands of drugged out zombies and risk stepping on used needles while watching their rental car get broken into? Shocking.

Trump's war on our economy roars forwards. Unabated.

Deplorable Trumping MAGAts continue to mindlessly cheer on the destruction of America.

there's about 46 other states that

That don't get the tourism California does.

Florida, Hawaii, Texas, New York, Nevada, California.

That's where the tourists are going.

All states will be losing money on tourism.

That's directly due to the actions of Trump.

But you MAGA morons can't think objectively about Trump even with the future of your children depending upon it.

Florida, Hawaii, Texas, New York, Nevada, California.

I've been a tourist in 2 of those.

And now you aren't coming to the US any longer? I am already all-in on MAGA - you can stop trying to sell me.

Hopefully good times.

You've also been to a lot of states not on that list.

All (most) states have tourism.

I was just listing the ones that have more to lose due to Trump.

Quite a few. I've been to NY and CA but not as a tourist. I'm not a fan of crowds and traffic.

" Overall, international tourists make up six percent of California visitors, but 17 percent of spending."

Only six percent? Florida has 8.5% foreign tourists in 2024.
You know what that means, Liberals.
Trump is hurting the people who need to be hurt!

Florida: In 2024, the total number of visitors reached a new record of 142.9 million, including 130.7 million domestic visitors, 8.9 million international tourists, and 3.3 million Canadians. en.cibercuba.com

Here in Okiehomie the locals don't have to worry about tourists showing up, except for the undocumented Chinese sex workers found each week when illegal MJ grows are busted...

-There's that cultish 'blame everything on Trump' mentality. Could it not be also a direct result of:

International tourists no longer want to go see the roaming bands of drugged out zombies and risk stepping on used needles while watching their rental car get broken into? Shocking.

"International tourists no longer want to go see the roaming bands of drugged out zombies and risk stepping on used needles while watching their rental car get broken into?"

America has been like that for fifty years, ever since Republicans started fighting and losing horrendously the War on Drugs.

The real reason international tourists aren't coming to the United States is the Trump Administration has unilaterally rescinded their Constitutional rights and routinely sends them to extra-judicial detention camps for weeks on end prior to deportation.

Yes yes, California so bad.

Ignore the huge successful economy and massive tourism.

Ever been to Missouri or Mississippi or Alabama or even parts of Florida and Texas? Everything you CLAIM about California is literally true for those areas.

You didn't read Snoofy's post, did you? Thought not.

But hey, maybe the war on drugs was fought in the Middle East somehow? Republican history is always a little off.

"But hey, maybe the war on drugs was fought in the Middle East somehow?"

I'm going with yes! By 2001, we were directly active in Afghanistan's poppy fields. And it was the longest war in this nation's history.

We won exactly nothing. We couldn't even make Pat Tillman getting murdered by our own troops into a Feel Good Story, though we certainly tried.

Astute readers might note Afghanistan isn't really in the Middle East, but since it's chock full of Muslims... close enough.

Lfthndturds took ivermectin, a medication for intestinal parasites normally given to livestock, to treat Covid, a respiratory virus.

That's all you need to know about that stupid moron to realize, nothing he posts is worth reading or caring about.

In 2026, the FIFA mega-tournament takes place in Canada, Mexico, and the US. California will host about a dozen games. But no planner thought that Dotard Trumpf would be President, much less operate a ruthless police state in America. How many foreigners are going to avoid DHS and ICE in America next year? Canadians and Mexicans and their two new leaders will enjoy the spectacle next year, but what about Americans? Data below shows that Republicans are not huge soccer fans, preferring UFC, golf, or NASCAR. So, who is going to attend these soccer games in the US? Soccer moms and Democrats only? The idiotic Trumpf junta was an unforeseen calamity for the FIFA organization.

#21: Hi Doc: "Don't overstay on their visa?" Hah! The US will be lucky to get anybody to come next year. Here is just one AI estimate:

In summary, while there is no specific number of tourists expected to stay away, the combination of visa issues, political climate, and safety concerns suggests that there could be a noticeable reduction in the number of international visitors to the US during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

I'm already looking forward to protesting the Saudi sham World Cup next decade. Now that America's leaders are more like Saudi's, looks like I'll have to protest that one, too
