Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

Newly released undercover video shows a university administrator in North Carolina boasting about DEI efforts still taking place at the school despite state and federal efforts to roll back the policies, prompting the school to sever ties with that employee. "I mean we probably still do anyway ... but you gotta keep it quiet," UNC Asheville Dean of Students Megan Pugh tells an undercover journalist in a video released by Accuracy In Media and exclusively obtained by Fox News Digital, after being praised for continuing to do "equity work" at the school. "Keep it on the down low?" the journalist responds, to which Pugh says, "Yeah."

Can you be more specific what DEI policy actually does?

I'll clue you in - "All Are Welcome" banners in classrooms are a part of that.

What negative results has DEI produced? What negative results did segregation produce? See the diff?

Is Karl Marx even taught, let alone DEI?

How does MAGA determine that DEI is a problem and not a benefit?

FTA:
"It's abundantly clear that the Marxist principles associated with DEI are fully embedded into this university," Accuracy in Media President Adam Guillette told Fox News Digital. "Removing one employee is merely the first step toward reform."

"Resolving the institutionalized radicalism at UNC-Asheville will require new leadership at the university level and bold reform from the Board of Governors," he continued.

Will Hild, executive director of Consumers' Research, told Fox News Digital earlier this year that companies and organizations are working hard to rebrand DEI policies by giving them new names.

"It is the exact same toxic nonsense under a new wrapper, and they're just hoping to extend the grift because a lot of these people, I would say most of the people working in DEI, are useless," Hild said.

Why in the hell would someone want to teach Karl marx?

Karl Marx definitely should be taught. It's a critical part of understanding the 20th century. How in the world could you even say what you did? Are you that terrified of any ideas contrary to your safe-space?

Even if you consider Marx's ideas dangerous (they aren't), how do you not understand Sun Tzu?

Our history, including the way those in power (whites) used law to segregate and control our own citizens should also be taught. Along with that should be taught the gains made through protests. Through political pressure. Through citizen initiatives, etc.

All history should be taught. All men are created equal. That's what DEI is about.

What is frightening is that their are right wing idiots cheering making our students dumber.

Are you that terrified of any ideas contrary to your safe-space?

Of course they are.

Book bans, word bans, rainbow bans, etc show the fragility of the right and the lack of confidence in their ideas.

They are the biggest collection of snowflakes I have seen in my 60 years on this planet.

It must be exhausting for people to walk around living in fear of everything like they do.

Oh you poor Victim!

"I mean we probably still do anyway ... but you gotta keep it quiet,"

That is what happens in the real world.
Companies that are committed to DEI don't just abandon their commitment because Trump said so.

Instead, they scrub DEI from their documentation and call it something else.
That way the Thought Police can't accuse them of supporting DEI because it's not called DEI any more.

Most every top tier company has already done this. Those that have ditched DEI, they did it as a backdoor layoff move.
Everybody in the top tier economy at top tier companies is surrounded by "DEI Hires" because those people are smarter and better workers than "Uneducated Americans."

That's what Virginia Foxx stated - that DEI is Marxism.

Regardless, how does MAGA determine that DEI is a problem and not a benefit?

Why do Republicans consider all social safety nets as Marxism?

Do the hundreds of years of segregation and enslavement represent the better society to you?

Well below Marxism's tally. Further, quality of life and lifespan improved / increased considerably as a result of Capitalism.
