Businesses surveyed by the Financial Times in the Midwestern city of St Louis said their suppliers had hiked prices for a broad range of products in recent weeks, sometimes by as much as 30 per cent, leaving them with little choice but to pass the increases on to customers.

Wrong, if the Dems had their way and the BBB didn't pass we would be looking at a 20% tax hike.

If the sunset clause hadn't been inserted then that wouldn't have been a problem.

As usual, dumbs*&^s like you fall for the same trick over and over again.

" if the Dems had their way and the BBB didn't pass we would be looking at a 20% tax hike."

Only if you're using Republican Math.

What "news" outlet is lying to you about "20%" ... ?

Dems wanted to extend the tax cuts for the working class but not for the rich.

Want to explain why your kids should face trillions more in debt so billionaires can be richer?

Who are the "we" your current alias' comment speaks of?

What are the demographics of that "we?"

Yet, there are just as sound metrics coming from the other side that things are looking great.

The problem is, liberals don't want to admit that if the goal is to invest in America and turn us into a self-sufficient nation again...what Trump is doing is exactly how you go about it. I'm not saying it's the direction we should go. I'm not saying it's the only right way. I'm just saying that just because liberals don't agree with his direction then all of a sudden they feel the need to spread as much hate and divisiveness as possible (and Reps also when a Dem is POTUS).

Yet here all of you DR kids are, eating all this up from your masters as if it's candy. Trump wants America to invest in itself. Dems want America to be in debt to the world. Both strategies are sound and can work very well if done correctly. Spreading hate because it's not being done your way is stupid.

Tariffs ARE a "tax hike".

Average Cost Increase: The Budget Lab at Yale estimates that the tariffs enacted in 2025 could result in an average loss of purchasing power of $2,400 per household in the short term, assuming no Federal Reserve reaction and full pass-through of costs to consumers. Other sources cite estimates ranging from $2,100 to $3,800.
Disproportionate Impact on Lower-Income Households: Tariffs tend to act like a regressive tax, meaning they affect lower-income households more significantly as a proportion of their income. For example, the Budget Lab at Yale estimates that the short-run burden on the first income decile (lowest earners) is more than three times that of the top decile, according to The Budget Lab at Yale. Annual costs for these households are projected to be around $1,300, according to the Budget Lab at Yale.

In my personal experience my costs of living are definitely going up everytime I go shopping now. Everything costs just a little bit more.

A nice slow increase like frogs getting slowly boiled . Enjoy your FAFO little froggies.

FAFOs ain't free. Your FAFO is gonna cost you one way or the other.

How does it makes us self sufficient to add trillions to the debt so the rich can be richer?

"Dems want America to be in debt to the world."

Which party just added trillions to the debt so the rich could be richer?
