US President Donald Trump claimed that his Russian counterpart let him down during the process of solving the Ukraine war. UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer also criticised Putin and said that he showed his "true face" with his biggest attack since the invasion.

Addressing a joint press conference with Starmer at Chequers, he confessed that even though he thought that the Russia-Ukraine war would be the "easiest" one to solve, it was not the case, however he said that he will ultimately resolve it.

"In recent days, Putin has shown his true face mounting the biggest attack since the invasion began, with yet more bloodshed, yet more innocents killed, and unprecedented violations of NATO airspace," Starmer said.

"These are not the actions of someone who wants peace. So we've discussed today how we can build our defences to further support Ukraine, and decisively increase the pressure on Putin to get him to agree to a peace deal that will last," he added.

The two leaders inked a major deal on tech investment that officials say will bring thousands of jobs and billions in investment in artificial intelligence, quantum computing and nuclear energy. Starmer called the deal a "groundbreaking" one and said that it is the largest investment package in British history."

Trump takes all kinds of shapes here

It's all the same.

He's a spoiled brat who has gotten his way his entire life.

He's a narcissist, a petulant child, a weak man's idea of a leader, a poor man's idea of a rich man, a loser's idea of a winner.

He won the hearts of deplorable people by telling them immigrants are criminals who are taking their jobs all while making it easier for the rich to send work overseas and pocket more money at the end of the year.

Trump replaced intelligent, qualified people in our government with lackeys and yes men whose only qualifications are blind loyalty to him.

The dollar has lost its value. Inflation is increasing. We've lost international trade partners. We've lost allied nations. The Trump administration is purging black people from the government.

Trump is personally spreading division and has stated he has zero intention of uniting our nation.

His only goals seem to be destroying America while making the most personal profit possible.

Only the dumbest of Americans support him. You can see them posting lies hate and propaganda here, everyday.

It's a shame you're not looking at what all Trumps actions mean for this nation, for your kids and for any future grandchildren.

They're going to grow up in a nation more resembling the Soviet Union than the United States of America we grew up in.

In the article, Trump bemoans all the deaths happening in Ukraine... as if he hasn't been Putin's enabler in those same deaths, and all those to come.

btw, Thanks, Trumpers!

"Fact check: Trump repeats numerous debunked claims at UK news conference with Starmer

President Donald Trump used his Thursday news conference with United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer to deliver a laundry list of long-debunked false claims about a variety of subjects, including inflation, immigration, tariffs and the attack on the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.

Here is a fact check of some of Trump's remarks at Chequers, the prime minister's country house."

... 'Putin Let Me Down': Trump Admits ...

I doubt if Pres Putin, in any shape manner or form, let down Pres Trump.

To me, it has appeared that Pres Trump has not had a clue of how to deal with Pres Putin.

'Putin Let Me Down' looks like the usual "blame the other person" phlegm that Pres Trump usually spouts to try to hide his shortcomings.

... Lenin, the inspiration for the Chinese Communist Party, is quoted as saying "probe with a bayonet: if you meet steel, stop. If you meet mush, then push."[16] Evidence suggests that when Beijing meets steel, it backs down, despite overheated rhetoric and vague threats. However, when it meets mush, it keeps pushing. ...

Replace "Chinese Communist Party" with "Pres Putin," and you have what looks to be occurring regarding Pres Putin and Pres Trump.

When facing Pres Putin, Pres Trump has looked like mush.
