Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

Though it has been said before, it should be said again: Catholics--and all people of good will--condemn Kirk's murder in the strongest possible terms. His death was an American tragedy. He was a husband, father and human being shot in the most gruesome way. His murder was an abhorrent crime against our shared human dignity and an act of evil. He did not deserve to die, and we should make it a point to pray for him, his family, and all those killed by acts of gun violence. But that does not mean he was "a modern-day St. Paul."

FTA:

Any reflection on the legacy of Kirk cannot gloss over the pain and suffering that Kirk inflicted on innumerable people through his harsh, divisive and combative rhetoric. We have published some of those perspectives in the National Catholic Reporter in recent days, but in any conversations about Kirk's legacy, we cannot ignore his racism, sexism and xenophobia.

The rhetoric at the Memorial from Trump and Stephen Miller was more than harsh, it was telling.

"The Dragon You Have Awakened

There was a stunning contrast in the messages of two speakers today at the memorial service for Charlie Kirk. On one hand, Erika Kirk said she forgave the man who killed her husband, and that the answer to hatred isn't more hatred but love.

By contrast, Stephen Miller said that the DRAGON has been awakened, and Donald Trump also remarked how he hates his opponents."

The irony of someone posting about the Catholic religion, and calling the assassination of Kirk, Karma.

I am not religious, but Gal, and Corky; I can tell you're the worst kind of Catholics.

"What goes around comes around" is part of everyday culture.

No religion need be involved.

Kirk was a nasty, grifting punk. Not a capital offense. And certainly not in MAGAtlandia. That said, dying does nothing to take away from the hate he seened to relish, not unlike a barnyard porker joyously rolling around in a muck-filled sty.

I'n not Catholic. I don't think Corky is either. It doesn't matter really. Cardinal Dolan of NY said Kirk was a modern day St. Paul on Fox News last week, and the article I have linked was published in the National Catholic Reporter.

PS I explained to you what karma means: what goes around comes around. Go around talking about the rational, prudent losses from gun violence necessary to maintain unfettered 2nd amendment rights, end up being one of those losses. I wouldn't have wished that karma on him, but then again I'm not for unfettered 2nd amendments and don't find the losses from gun violence rational and prudent.

KIRK: "You will never live in a society when you have an armed citizenry, and you won't have a single gun death. That is nonsense. It's drivel. But I am--I think it's worth it. I think it's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year, so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God given rights. That is a prudent deal. It is rational."

I don't belong to any denomination... if I did, it might be eastern Anglican, which is a Reformation church.

(note; in the US Anglicans are called Episcopal, and Episcopal are in the Anglican church... don't ask)

Even if it's not, that's just as stupid.

Can't find anything online about "Pfizer bandaid tats".

Sounds like Turds, our resident pedophile supporter and ivermectin addict, is lying like he always does.
