Wisconsin business owner Bill Berrien, a supporter of President Donald Trump, ended his Republican campaign for governor on Friday, days after it was reported that he followed numerous sexually explicit accounts online, including a nonbinary pornography performer. Berrien, a former Navy SEAL and one of three announced prominent Republican candidates, issued a lengthy statement saying "I had no idea that running for political office could be almost as dangerous" as "hunting down war criminals in Bosnia."

The republican obsession with trans people results from a deep attraction.

Imagine being so closeted you think only Liberals are trans people!

This is exactly where Republicans were, in terms of groupthink, fifty years ago.
When being gay was the same as being a commie.

Nowadays, everyone knows there's tons of gay Republicans. Even Republicans know it. There's even a group called Log Cabin Republicans to try to make it okay to be gay and be a Republican, which of course it isn't really, but they try.

Log Cabin Republicans was founded in 1977, right around the time society, including many Republicans, decided being gay was not worthy of being sent to a mental institution or worse.

Republicans who acknowledge the existence of (largely closeted) gay Republicans today, most of them can't accept there are Trans Republicans too.

Even Speaker Mikey is (maybe) gay!

Not that there's anything wrong with that, other than being a flat out hypocrite:

It's always the same --------.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Rules for thee, not for me.

And trans people are evil and gross...pass the jurgens.

Funny how a party that allegedly wanted to "get government off our backs" spends all their time ramming their bull ---- philosophy down everyone else's throats.

I do not.

But I'm optimistic it's because they put Lincoln Logs up each other's butts.

Reminds me of the time Trump's Vice President won Trump's heart by calling Trump "America's Hitler."

Obviously Trump took it as a compliment and thought that it meant Vance shared his (Miller's actually) vision for America.

Republicans villainize and demonize that which they find most dear to their hearts. Just saying.

Of course! He's a RINO! That's why he's doing something bad!

Real Republicans are upstanding he-men who fly giant Trump flags and like guns and are totally straight!
