"The better question is, why are we not giving incentives to companies to require them to give shares in their companies to all employees, at the same percentage of cash earnings as the CEO?"

Of course, if we still had Gov of by and for the People rather than for the Corporations who now own the politicians... we wouldn't have this problem.
Which is why campaign finance reform is key to solving many problems.

Because Congress doesn't work for anyone under the top 1%
That much has be evident with this shut down which is all about protecting the 1% from paying taxes and taking away health insurance and medicaid to pay for it.
